The new Fantastic Four version leads me to believe this take was made to draw in the younger crowd. Writing was simple and the whole storyline was mediocre. Bought it to add to my large movie collection mostly because the price was right.

Wasn't planning on buying this movie but figured what the heck. So Best Buy selling it at a fair price but the movie was so so. Oh well. Didn't break the bank so it's ok

This iteration of the Fantastic Four improves on a lot over the previous two films. I like the origin focus of the film and even some of the twists on their origins. It was entertaining to see the interaction between each of the characters. I really liked The Thing in this one compared to Michael Chiklis' "Nerf-foam" version. However, the biggest knock and what probably ruins the movie for me is the implementation of Dr. Doom. Neither the old ones or the new FF films do him any justice. He does not seem formidable enough, nor does he look right. I can appreciate the desire to stray from the typical look, but he no longer remotely resembles Dr. Doom in this film.

Actually the first 2 Fantastic 4 movies were better. In this movie the villain should have been more villainous. I didn't hate the villain, and you have to HATE the villain when the god guys defeat him. Good special effects. Enough said.

Buy this only if it's in the clearance bin for 3 bucks. Probably the worst marvel movie since Ghost Rider! The picture quality and sound is top notch but the story and acting is terrible. Would be totally surprised if they did a sequel.

Bought it for my daughter. She said the reviews were bad but there are actors in it that she lovessss so she Had to see it lol. She said it wasn't that bad though:)

I personally enjoyed this movie. It wasn't by any means perfect but it was still fun to watch. Plus, the I think the Steelbook sets it apart. Just go ahead and get it!

If I wasn't a comic book fan I would have liked this movie much more. The changes to the actual story I didn't like. However the story on its own was good and the action was decent. Much better than the last time fox made a Ff4 movie.

While the story of one of Marvel's first and greatest superhero teams has never translated well to the big screen , this version was at least cinematically engaging.

While I cannot recommend this movie as a purchase for any reason other than if you are a collector of the super hero type movies, I also did not think it is as bad as it has been made out to be from other reviews I have seen. This is set up as an origin story and by the time you get to the end of the movie it feels like you did not really get to see them do much beyond form the Fantastic Four team. The last 20 minutes seems like it was just tacked on to give the movie a purpose and some action sequences and does not really fit with the rest of the movie. Still, I feel it is worth a watch as long as you go into the movie not expecting too much from it.

I know that some people have not liked the different take on this story and charterers yet I truelly thought that the movie and story line was very entertaining.

I did enjoy the original movie - good camp, the second wasn't as good, and this one was mmm ordinary. It could have been quite a bit better, too much time skipped over and the big finish wasn't so big. Can't say I'd recommend this.

I don't understand the bad reviews of this movie. It's good and of course a lot different from the past F4 we've known and seen. It's entertaining and I liked it.

good for the whole family movie, lots of action and some humor. could have waited for price to go down. still a good super hero movie to have in your collection.

Starting over again with another reboot. Another origin story. Not bad But not as good as the first. Still worth buying if You like these type of movies.

I'm a critic and I was not expecting much but it actually was good to ok. I did not care for the costumes.... and it just felt a little off, but it was not bad.

My daughter is a huge Marvel fan. She saw the first remake and wanted this one despite the reviews. She actually liked the movie. I didn't.

Not a big fan of some of the changes in this re-boot. I feel they messed with the story-line a bit too much. Not a bad movie, just a bit skewed from the comics.

Many would skeptically review this movie, but it was actually pretty good...until the third act....see it for yourself....BUT warning.....get it on sale

This remake of the 2005 version is pretty good. I hope they continue to make another. And maybe a 3rd. The last version they only made 2. So sad.
