Wasn't this released in the Theaters in 3D? Taking that approach with the Blu-ray release might have made this movie at least fun to watch. I think it's more of a near miss... overall just average... only a fair for the story (I must admit that I had higher expectations)... and a good for the disc quality.

This isn't your ordinary fantastic four that you know and love. This movie is based on the ultimate fantastic four storyline and while it might not be the greatest, it is still a good origin story for someone new to the series.

The reviews for this film were very negative. I found the film to be very enjoyable. I thought it was a good origin story for a reboot. I am not sure why all the reviews I read were so negative. It was actually not bad at all.

I enjoyed the movie and the graphics although I thought it was a little slow. A lot of buildup for not much of a plot it seemed to me. I did enjoy it because I'm partial to superhero films and seeing those characters come to life on the big screen. I would recommend trying it, you might be surprised.

I am not a comic buff so I am not sure how the characters are to be transformed into the Fantastic 4 however I liked the older version of the movie better. I like the characters better in this version and the action much more!

I am not certain if The Fantastic Four is just a dated concept or if it just remains to be executed well in film. Either way, this entry is not much better than the original films with Chris Evans. The storyline has shifted to make the group young scientists to appeal to a younger crowd, but it quickly loses this by basically giving the characters dialogue that 40 year old actors could have pulled off without many changes. The CGI is much better, but still seems a little off in comparison to other superhero films. As for the Blu-ray itself, this is definitely the way to see the film. The crystal clear images and the dynamic sound give it a much more exciting watch than can be had with DVD. The Blu-ray gives you everything you would want in a film driven by special effects. I wish the film was as good as the Blu-ray looks and sounds.

See my review of FF Blu ray for details on the movie. Steelbooks are a hit and miss as collectibles or investment opportunities. So if you're buying for resell PASS. If you're buying it to add to your steelbook collection I'd say go for it. The packaging is nice and is a great addition to my collection.

Fantastic Four had good visual effects. Unfortunately the plot was not amazing. The whole movie was pretty much just a for ward for the next movie. Gave a great detailed synopsis of the development of all the characters and how their abilities were birthed. But just an average Super Hero Mutant movie.

Not a very good review. I watched it a couple weeks ago...can remember little about it other than the story was weak and (believe it or not) forgettable. I would say the original was better if I could remember it either. It is a shame, it has decent source material and they have the tech to do it.

This movie could've been so much better. The ending was extremely disappointing to say the least, and the storyline was lacking. The special effects were great but this time Marvel deviated too much from the comic books. The only reason I bought this movie is because I have every other Marvel film.

This is not a bad movie - just not quite up to the Marvel super hero story standards. Good origins coverage, but not a riveting plot. The Dr Doom villain is not convincing. The movie was ok to watch, but not amazing. This version, however, is definitely better than the 1st two Fantastic Four tries.

Wasn't sure if i will like the new cast for the fantastic four, was a bit different but it was a good action movie, a bit slow in the beginning but end it up ok. Hopefully they keep the same cast for the new one.

Well for starters, this movie wasn’t fantastic but also wasn’t the worst. The origins are alittle off but the movie does have some amazing visuals and it’s atleast entertaining enough to watch twice

I actually thought this movie was going to be terrible, as so much of the origin seemed to be changed. However, it was better than I expected and I'm looking forward to seeing more Fantastic Four in the future.

The movie wasn't AS bad as everyone made it seem...but, then again, it wasn't all that great. If you can get this for a super cheap price, as I did, then it's about the same as a rental, so...worth it? I guess...There are a few decent moments worth watching anyway.

I think the reviews on this movie have been a little rough. It is an OK movie but I think the younger crowd will enjoy it more than the adults. Kids really liked, I was OK with since I was with my kids.

This rendition of the Fantastic 4 is not as good as the Fantastic 4 movie made in 2005 (IMO). But, this movie does entertain and have good special effects. If you catch it on sale, it's worth it.

The first half of the movie was making some sense but on the second half it did not make any sense. I think the movie was in the rush of finishing it. I think it's still great but needed some polishing.

Not a bad movie, but the 2005 version had better acting and better writing. The special effects were fine, but overused. Even when dealing with superheroes and super villains the ability to suspend disbelief only goes so far, and this movie went over the edge from that aspect.

I still haven't had the chance to watch this movie all the way through yet. From what I have watched it seems like a really good movie. It has potential and lots of action. Can't wait to finish it!!!
