Acting and plot are so-so, but its still entertaining

Typical acting for this series and the story line was predictable. Would not have bought it if I had known how poor the acting and story was.

This story has been done too many times. Very predictable, except for the lengthy airstrip scene. (the hero dying) That was ridiculous.

This franchise has finally met it's maker I think. The action was ok, the car scenes (minus the tank scene) were pretty exciting, but the writers seem to be drowning, and I believe with the passing of mr walker they have reached their end.

I ordered the steelbook. the dvd came instead!!!!!

This movie proves that the Fast & Furious series is just getting better and better. I thought 4 slumped a little, but 5 totally redeemed the series. I also thought it'd be hard, if not impossible, to beat 5, but 6 did it. The movie is action packed and has the usual laughs thrown in. This movie is a must-have for all F&F fans for sure! It also does an excellent job of tying all the movies together to lead into F&F 7, even though it's heartbreaking that Paul Walker wasn't able to finish it. With all of that said... when I bought this movie, I couldn't get it to work. I tried it in my PS3 numerous times and nothing. I live over an hour from the nearest Best Buy and had already read a review stating they were having the same problem, and had even exchanged theirs and still had the same thing. Someone posted a fix for it so I tried it, and it does work! If you are watching this movie on a PS3 (I don't own a regular blu ray player, but I'd say the same thing would probably apply), go into your blu ray internet access settings. You'll notice blu ray movies are set to allow internet access by default. Set it to ask you for access whenever you put a movie in, instead of it automatically being able to connect. Whenever you do so, and it asks to allow it, click no. The movie will start right up.

For whatever reason, the Fast and Furious movies actually seem to improve as the franchise goes on. Perhaps that is because there wasn't much plot besides race suped up cars and don't get caught by the cops; a plot that only has up to go with some decent writing. Anyway, this film was a bit more powerful that I thought it would be but I must admit that is likely because of the fact that it was released about a week after Paul Walker's death. The action is perhaps the best in the series and the video quality is excellent. It is certainly a worthy film to ad to the franchise. Disclaimer: This is advertised as having an extended edition. It must be noted that on the back of the blu ray, the extended edition runtime is EXACTLY the same as the theatrical. I don't know what was added, but I didn't notice any differences. Perhaps a shot lingered for 30 seconds longer.
