First, I'd Like To Start Of By Saying Congratulations To John Green. He Is An Amazing Writer And It's A Blessing Seeing His Book Come To A Film. I Know That He Is Proud And We All Are. I Recommend This Film To Young Teens Because We All Get To A Stage Where We Are Just Spoiled or Ungrateful. Young Teens And Teens Need To Realize That There's Others Who Have Much Worse Than You. This Love Story Is A Classic And The Best Part Is, The Choice Of Actors For This Film Was The Best Decision Ever. They Understand The Depth And Emotion Of Each Character. It Is As If I'm Watching A Daily Life Of A Teen Battling With Some Sort Of Sickness. In Which We Are, However, The Comprehension Towards Each Actor Is Amazing. I Don't Want To Spoil Anything, But Keep In Mind Of The Acting And Plot. Now For Those Who Have Seen This Film & Have Read The Book, I'd Like For You To Know That This Is A Must Keep Item For You.

I am a big fan of Shailene Woodley; I loved seeing her in DIVERGENT. It is also interesting that her boyfriend in this movie was her brother in DIVERGENT. Therefore, it is interesting to see them in a different light & w/ a different dynamic b/w the 2. I love this movie b/c it is not a "cookie cutter" formula movie like other romances where there is the standard rushing to the airport to stop the one they love, pronounce their love in a dramatically embarrassing & inappropriate way w/ everyone in public clapping as you kiss (yeah right! Like THAT ever happens...) w/ the standard of puppies newly born the end. I like unique movies. This movie has depth. Although I was slightly annoyed w/ how Augustus Waters' (Ansel Elgort's) constant adoring smile/grin/staring attentive gaze seemed fake & unrealistic to me (no guy seems to act that way in real life).

I loved this book and the movie was over the top. An amazing cast that turned a horrible situation into a wonderful life. I couldn't get it out of my head for days after reading the book and then weeks after the movie. Not for young children but excellent portrayal of teenagers dealing with the reality of cancer.
