I love to collect the steelbook, this steelbook looks good! And the movie is good!

I have always enjoyed this movie. To add it to my Steelbook collection is a plus.

Even though this movie is over 30 years now the film technicians did a GREAT job producing this in 4K Ultra HD. The colors are vivid, the nighttime scenes are beyond compare. The musical score is simple but so effective. It'a a great movie that has stood the test of time. And it looks, and sounds better than ever!

This is such a classic movie. Love the 4K upgrade. Definitely worth picking up.

This movie tells a tale of baseball, fatherhood, and nostalgia. It takes you on a journey of one man’s self awarement and along the way makes you beleve there is still goodness in the world despite all the negativity that looms over everything. Yes everyone makes jokes about the cliches in the story, it still holds up after over 30 years. This is a must see for all fathers and sons.

Good film, emotional and fun, telling the story of an Iowa farmer, and his field which he builds to bring the memories of legendary baseball players back to life. Costner fine in title role. Burt Lancaster appears late and is quite memorable. Some of the script is a bit pedestrian and silly, but the concluding scenes, add whimsy and emotion and that payoff works. That more of my reason for giving it a recommendation. Baseball fans will love it, but I think it'll have a mass appeal to many.

Another gorgeous 4K transfer. I think the studio snuck in some 4D effects that prompt my 4K player to release allergen from the player around the 90-minute mark because my eyes always seem to water at this time. Either way, not complaining.

I love baseball, and this is the best baseball movie ever made. The filmmakers and everyone involved love the game, and you can tell as they bring to life a good baseball book, and make a great movie. The blu ray has some fun extras on it, and the 4K picture is fantastic. Makes me feel like I'm in Iowa. If you don't have this, get it.
