For those who really enjoyed the book then it follows it pretty well. I just wish they picked a better actor for the part :) I will watch the next one too.

This movie was very well done. The book had much more in it as is usual. But.....the movie was very close to the lines of the book everyone loved so much.

I really enjoyed the movie. I was still reading the book when it was in theaters so I had to wait impatiently for the DVD release. It did not disappoint.

This movie was quite good. If you like romance movies or a weird love story this is for you. It definitely gave me new ideas for the bedroom.

Compared to the horribly written book this movie wasn't actually bad. Of course there were some things that could have been better but it wasn't horrible!

Good relationship dynamic & intrigue regarding the S&M World. However if you're already deeply into those interests, it may seem a bit tame.

Was a sweet movie a slightly erotic love story, they did well with transpiring the info from book movie, Few sexually implied scenes. Could be so worse!!

My ole lady has read every book. She loves this movie. Though it didn't follow the book as much as she hoped it was still very good. Definitely worth it.

I am not a fan of this movie, but my wife loves it. To me, it lacks character development and a meaningful story. Christian Grey is a billionaire at like 27, yet you have no idea what he actually does...but boy did he have time to get his pilot license and study English Literature. Half the movie is spent talking about and negotiating a relationship contract that is essentially pointless. Just wasn't for me, but she really likes it, so I am happy with the purchase.

After all the comments I heard about how great this was, I found it to be good. Glad I chose to see it on DVD rather than spending more at the movies.

Sexy, powerful and intense, just like Christian! I highly suggest watching this movie if you read the books. If you didn't, watch it anyways but know that it is intense and tackles some taboo subject. Jamie dornan and Dakota Johnson are amazing together!!

The movie is fairly true to the book given the need to fit the movie into a finite duration. Had envisioned Grey looking a little more sophisticated.

This was a movie about a man who was is in the process of changing the way he interacts with making love to women once he met a woman who he cared for.

It was a good movie but the Hype for the movie was way too high for what the movie was, but you know what??? I had to own it because I LOVE SASSY!!!

Was an interesting take on something that is not talked about in society. Had some great jokes and puns to lighten up the mood of an awkward situation.

Even though the movie does not follow the book in the scenes, it is still a GREAT movie and it follows the story plot to the point! Me & My Husband both enjoyed it when we went to watch it at the theaters and I just had to get it when it came out of DVD!

Usually when you watch a movie, it's so different from the book but not with this one. There was a lot of controversy about the actors but seeing them on screen together worked like a charm...lots of chemistry. Loved it and can't wait for the next one.

I enjoyed the movie and I am looking forward to the next ones. I think maybe different actors could have been used but maybe that was the point of it.

Movie was much better than expected. Normally I like to read the books first then watch the film adaption. However, based upon my understanding of the subject matter I had no interests in the novels. I watched the movies as a lark and now I'm hooked!!!

Although I have not read the books yet, the movie was even better than I had expected. It's really a wonderful story about two people falling in love
