The movie was boring. I tried to watch it multiple times but kept falling asleep. Dakota and jamie have zero chemistry. The packaging of the grey book looks cool. I would save my money and just rent from redbox, not worth the purchase.

Upon checkout the best buy cashier said that she read the book and watched the movie. She said that the movie was 2 out of 10, book was 8 of 10. I personally didn't read the book but I feel that the cashier was right with her rating.

...the movie is much better. For a plotless bit of sexy fluff, it was reasonable. And it's a well-done introduction to a much-maligned lifestyle that the mainstream public knows very little about.

The item itself was stellar as Best Buy provided a steel book collectable blu-ray. The movie on the other hand was mediocre. I haven't read the book, but according to friends, the book is way better than the movie.

the movie is really annoying. I'll give it credit that they are trying to cash in on the book but it just makes no sense. if he wasn't a billionaire, it would be a different story. enjoy your smut.

My wife loved it, and wanted all the special features from the blueray disc. The only reason I watch it with her is because of the nudity. The blueray does not have additional nudity scenes...

The hype about 50 Shades of Grey makes no sense. It is an uninteresting story that makes no sense. You're not rooting for any of the characters in this story and the ending is unsatisfying.

I'm going to be honest and say that the only reason that I'm reviewing this movie is to get free reward points. I never watched it. I bought it for my wife.

This is a movie you have to take at face value. If you go into it looking for a serious movie you will be disappointed. Remember the book was made from Twilight fan fiction.

Wife made me watch it...she liked it...but lost my attention in under 5 minutes. Wife's and girlfriends will like it...boyfriends and husbands will want to take a nap.

For a 2hr movie, you get 10 minutes of sexy. Lots of exposition, maybe Darker will be better. The actors dont feel connected to eachother, which is kind of the point!

50 shades of gray was not worth the money I paid for it...it over exposed the girl and the guy was lame and I would not tell a friend to buy this dvd..it's a dud

The story similar to the book but seems to go extremely fast compared to it also I don't believe the characters they selected to be the main are the best choice

The book behind this movie began as an erotic Twilight fan fiction, and watching the movie makes that painfully obvious. At no point was it sexy or interesting.
