I did not read the books, but thought the movie a complete waste of time. It was neither engaging nor erotic. The supposedly "steamy" scenes came off stilted and silly. Neither actor oozed sensuality or sexuality. Did not make me want to read the books.

I did not enjoy this movie. I spent more time playing backgammon on my mobile phone than focusing on the movie. His fantasies were dull. I've done more than this character without the weapons. Well, I own it now so I'm stuck.

Definitely could have been a Netflix Movie. Wasn't worth the big screen. It's not as good as the book. The mental visuals from the book is much better than the actual movie. Acting was mediocre. Definitely expected more.

It's horrible, the only reason why I had to watch was my gf, it's pointless, acting is horrible, so many plot holes, I only like Taylor in the movie cuz he only said two words

Bought 50 shades of grey hoping for a great movie night, but the actress was awful. The checkout and service at best buy was exceptional but the movie was horrendous!

Understand that there is to be a sequel. As part of the new plot she should forced to watch the first movie. It will truly be cruel and unusual punishment!

After all the hype I relented and added Fifty Shades of Grey to my collection. It was not to my liking and I have yet to finish the movie.
