i got the movie for my gf so i have no idea if its good

If you read the books like I did then you would enjoy the movie too. It was pretty good but these 2 stars I would not have picked for the title roles. If you can get over them like I did then you'll enjoy it. I did'nt go to the theater to see this because I was'nt sure I would enjoy it.I dont regret buying the movie. It was better than I thought it would be.

Movie was good overall (IMO). The acting was OK, while I have heard from friends that they did not care for the movie, or found it to be boring, I did find the overall story to be well put together, and was very close to the book story line (from what others, who have read the book have told me). Personally, I liked it, but you have to make up your own mind!

As excited as I was to see Fifty Shades of Grey, I had reasonable expectations. And while it is not perfect (though, honestly, I wouldn't have changed much if given the chance), I felt like Sam-Taylor Johnson made an incredible film adaptation out of a wildly popular book that is some 500 pages in length---and with a restrictive R-rating, no less, for such an intensely erotic story. There is a lot missing from the book but the important stuff remains, and many favorite quotes are included. Overall a Great Adaptation, Loved It!

I had never read any of the books, and didn't have any real idea of what to expect. I just thought it would be some erotic movie with no real point. It was actually better than I anticipated and I look forward to seeing the next movie.

For those of us who have read the books you will be disappointed a bit. They left a lot out but it's not horrible. We all know that the movies never caputure the story quiet like the books. I still recommend it.

The Movie was great and true to book one. If you have not read the books don't bother getting the movie you will not understand it. If you read the books but missed the movie it is a must have!!!

I didn't see it the movie so figured I would wait for it to come out on blu-ray. It was a good movie but definitely not what it was all hyped up to be.

It was a fantasy, but after reading all the books, I wanted more. They stopped at the first book. I thought they would do all of the novels, together.

I loved the books and enjoyed the movie. The movie was entertaining tho it did not capture the true essence of the book. Tho I did enjoy!

The movie did a fairly good job following the book. The actors captured the essence of the book.

I have read all the books and very pleased with the way the movie was handled even though some parts were deleted in the movie. It is partly fantasy, part fairytale, not to be taken too seriously.
