The movie was better than I thought but wasn't as provacative as I expected.

Bought for the wife who was big on the books. Like nearly all movies, the book was better. We both actually fell asleep in the middle of the movie first time we tried watching it. Just more or less "touched" on a few points in the book. Save your money, just rent at redbox for a buck or watch on Netflix....

I enjoyed the movie. Since reading the books, I was looking forward to the movies and seeing how the cast, location selection, props and style was chosen.

Not everything about the movie is bad, Johnson was believable in a few scenes. As far as story goes, there was not much beyond "hey, the hot guy likes the underappreciated hot girl" bit, but movies are fantasy, right? I found my least favorite part of the film was the soundtrack... It's close to atrocious.

Didn't know what this movie was about, till my wife ask me to go to the movies with her. It was a good movie got this for her.
