Fun to watch. Dakota Johnson did a fantastic job. While I like the sequel even better since it gets more into why the character Christian Grey is the way he is, this movie is worth owning. 4K HDR can't be beat. Worth buying.

No movie can really do a book(s) justice. The sense of how fast or slow this movie moves doesn't lend itself to a late-night readathon or an early morning look through. Hoewver, it is as close as a movie can come without being crass.

Moved away from physical media. To buy this movie was less than renting twice. Copied to the hard drive so if the wife ever want to see it again we should then make our money back. What else should I say, it is a movie on a disk.

Good movie. Wouldn't have picked these two actors for this movie but they showed me why I am not casting for movies. They were both great and fully represent the characters as we know them from the books. Looking forward to the next installment.

Where can I begin? I haven't read the book and there was a reason why. I heard it was more sexually based and I didn't want that to be my first thought of the movie so when I did watch the movie, I love the fact it was passionate. He desired her in a way she wasn't use to plus the fact that he really liked her but wanted her to be what he needed. I'm not gonna spoil it so enjoy.

I checked around and the BEST deal was from Best Buy because the offering of the DVD + BD + The Digital Version (this is the one I am most enjoying). In many digital stores just this last version cost you the same price as this whole combo deal I got here. Besides, I found the Best Buy Version has exclusive extra material that others stores are not offering with this version.

Bought this movie for my wife as she has read the books. Ended up watching it with her. Was a good movie on an interesting topic. Shows that no matter what people see on the outside, there can always be something lurking behind closed doors.

I found this movie entertaining. I think actors were just right for their parts. I especially thought that she was a good fit. She was attractive but not so pretty that choosing her for the part would be absurd. Ending left room for part II.

I did not read the book. My wife did. That said, it was a decent movie. It was not as raunchy as I was worried it might be, but let's face it the subject matter is about raw passion, not romantic love. My wife thought the book was better.

Love this movie, I saw it in the theater 4 times and bought it on blu-ray the day it came out. Realize what the movie is of course, so don't expect an award-winning film, but there's a great story at the heart of it too. I found the books too poorly written to finish reading them, cringe-worthy actually. But I totally love the movie, even the music selections were great!

I had an idea of the plot from a friend who read the series. The movie kept things interesting throughout leaving me interested in seeing how it is continued with the next release. Might not be everyone's cup of tea but I liked it.

The movie, by itself is intriguing. It certainly keeps your interested in the dirty little secrets of Mr. Grey. Iam not sure if it shares enough of the backstory but for screen, and to continue with the trilogy it is still very good!

I had planned to buy fifty shades of grey when it came out but was planning on buying the dvd not blue ray.. but blue ray had the alternating ending so i had to buy the blue ray dvd. I loved the price so I got blue ray movie instead.

So this is what the ladies are reading and watching these days! Interesting , but overall a good movie my girlfriend wanted to see it so i got it for her and she loves it.. If she happy that's all that matters to me for this purchase

Even though the movie was based off a book and a lot of the really good stuff was cut out it still was a good adaptation. I recommend the UNRATED version because there is some additional footage that wasn't in the theatrical release.

Took my wife to see this and she loves the books. The movie was entertaining. The two leads for fun to watch and plenty of comedy. It's a pretty standard love story just when some mature content on top of it.

If you're looking for a movie that follows the book, this is far from it. The book couldn't be made into a movie without getting a X rating. Overall it's a good movie if you discount the books and take it for being it's own movie.

Its always interesting to watch a book come to life...the reason this movie wasn't so spectacular I believe is because the book hyped it up too much. But overall, just an average adult movie, with adult scenes nothing too drastic.

Good movie good choice of actors wish there was another movie love the sound track to the movie as well. Watched it once intend on watching it again definitely going to tell my friends about it. Will be watching out for a sequel.

50 Shades of Grey is a good movie. My wife read the books and wanted to buy the blu ray & dvd combo. Given the material from the book, the actors and director did the best they could to bring the story to life in the best way possible. Not recommended for children. Strictly adults.
