My wife loved it and that is all that really matters, right? I enjoyed it also. It was definitely better than I thought it was going to be.

Interesting film in that it showed one's dark side and exposed them for what they were. Looking forward to more of this film to come . . .

The book is better than the movie, though if you aren't a reader or don't have the time, the movie won't disappoint! The movie is fun, intriguing, and super sexy! Not necessarily a chick flick. My husband enjoyed it too.

A good movie for a chick-flick. Has some pretty racy scenes, but nothing "worse" than the soft-core stuff found on your premium channels late at night. & if your lucky, maybe your wife/ girlfriend will be "turned on" while watching it.

I like this movie and there were a ton of editions from different places, but when I saw this cover for the steel book, I knew I had to have this one. The cover was my fav poster from the film and its a great addition to my collection.

This high powered movie has lots of reality in it. A deeply troubled man has psychological issues going back to childhood and this will come out once the third movie is released. Very good study of human behavior.

A lot of the elements represented from the book. Great casting of actors, relative unknowns, kept interest and should be breakout stars.

I like the movie, It is definitely about all the kinky things you can do in bed. I think the main characters played well off each other.

Very close to the book. However, I always enjoy the books better. The 1st book was slow compared to books 2 & 3. So, I'm guessing the movies will get more exciting too. It truly is a romantic love story under all the hype of the BDSM.

Followed the book pretty well, was a little disappointed at the ending *SPOILER* ends rather abruptly, cliffhanger for follow up books.

Loved the music and plot but I wish it would have been more explicit on the unrated version. Can't wait for the next movie to come out!

Not for the reserve type personalities. breaks the boundrys of the reserve overtones, one expects these days with content. But the overall situation of those with wealth and freedom to push boundrys makes this a film worth seeing....

I didn't like the end but I can't wait for the 2nd sequel of this movie because it left me hanging. Also, I didn't expect about this movie to have this BDSM kind of thing. For a love story involving BDSM, there will be a lot to see.

No regrets buying this movie. Watched it on a weekend.... It was all worth it to watch a great movie in the comfort of your home....

Good movie but the ending was like it was cut off in the middle of the movie. Great for a sequel, not so much for the original movie.

I haven't watched it, but she seems to enjoy it. I guess if your girlfriend or wife are fans of the book then they'll like this too.
