I did see this movie, it was good. Got it for a female friend who only saw the 2nd movie and wanted to know what happened in the first one. I'd recommend it as more of a chick flix

I bought this movie for a girlfriend on her birthday. She loved it. I fell asleep but it looks interesting

Liked the movie. Sexy but not overtly so. Touches on a bit of taboo with the bondage but tastefully done.

I didn't get the chance to see the 50 Shades movie in the theatres, so as soon as it came out, I bought it. The movie was as expected, and was so upset when it ended! Can't wait for next movie!

Actors did a wonderful job with their characters. Reading the book is a must to understand what's going on better in the movie. Wish they would have been more true to the book.

Never read the books for this series, so for me the movie was just so-so. My wife one the other saw quite a bit wrong with the film. There was a lack of chemistry between the two main characters that made the film kind of awkward. I also felt as if there wasn't enough character development and left you with more questions than anything. Like I said it's an ok film.

Great movie. Fan of the books and needed the unrated version. Does not have as many clips as I expected.

I liked the books so well I didn't expect to be too impressed with the movie- however, they managed to portray the humor, emotional struggles and attraction between Christian and Ana very well.

It's always fun and interesting to compare how they adapt books to the screen and find the things they change and enhance to make it fit a diverse audience. Get the book and you be the judge ?

I love the version. Movie would have been better had I not read the book and had such high expectations.

This movie is not for everyone, but for anyone who enjoyed the book, you will enjoy the movie.

It was a good movie but the book was better. Can't wait for the next one to be released;)
