Saw this years ago in the theater. Was browsing in Best Buy and saw this on sale. I already had the DVD and thought this would be a nice upgrade. The picture quality is better than the DVD but not as much of an upgrade as I had hoped. Still, very worth having and my friend got my old DVD so he is happy!

I bought this as a joke gift for my friend, so I can't really judge the quality of the movie (although I haven't heard too many positive things about it). As for Blu-rays, it's pretty standard. Disk, case, even some special features. Buy it if you think you'll enjoy the movie, but definitely make sure you do your research first.

I enjoyed this movie, its nothing something the vast majority will enjoy though, only fans of final fantasy will be interested in this and even then some still wont be. the animation and graphics are really ahead of their time i applaud square for pushing the envelope with this movie

The animation is great for its time, but is a bit dated now. The story is entertaining enough, but it is a bit convoluted. The art style is a bit drab as well, taking place in lifeless areas, which makes sense from a plot standpoint, but doesn't make for interesting scenery.

The movie isn't too bad, but visually it's amazing. Do note that this is the newer version, so you get an UltraViolet download code as well as an updated cover and slipcover. So, those are nice for the price!

This film gets a bad reputation, unfairly in my opinion, as fans of the game series had some crazy expectations. For what it is (and not what it isn't) I still enjoy the premise. At the time it was definitely a marvel of CGI.

I saw this in theaters back in 2001 when it first came out and haven't watched it since I bought this. The visuals are still spectacular and hold up very well to today's standards, but the movie itself is pretty bland.

You'll like this movie a lot if a huge FF fan but to someone who isn't, I'm not sure if they can follow the storyline. It's a movie worth at least one watch imo.

Im glad this finally came out on Blu ray. The movie is just okay. Came out back in the day. The story is sort of just there but the CGI and animation is top notch.

Always buy movies and use the digital code, this. Ode did not work and it was quite the run around to get a replacement pain in the butt

Final Fantasy series based movie, was decent, the graphics for the time of the release were excellent. The story line was okay.

Good entertainment material but not for repeated views. Still worth trying.

Graphic is amazing but the story plot is awful. It has nothing to do with Final Fantasy series that we all know.

This was not what I expected. It's a little slow paced, but the animation is well done.

It really hasnt aged well. My copy did come with a UV code though which is nice.
