Saw this in theater when it first came out. CGI was phenomenal back then, and even though it hasn’t aged the best by today’s standards, it’s still really impressive. Personally, I like the story and plot. It’s a good movie.

This is movie is very underrated. It was a bomb at the box office but it is actually a very good movie. People got hung up on the final fantasy name too much.

is the best of the bunch. This is Hironobu Sakaguchi's own creation and takes the spirit of what Final Fantasy used to be; A self contained, one-off story in a fantasy setting. No need to play any of the games to understand the story, so this is the only FF movie that ANYONE can get into without feeling like they need to be a FF geek to understand. Taking the futuristic setting out of the the other elements that hold everything together, you will find some of the RPG series staples here. The story could have been a game if Square wanted to go in that direction. Who said fantasy had to have magic and swords?

I never saw this film when it first came out in theaters or on DVD several years ago, but heard great things about it. I can honestly say I was not disappointed in the least bit. The Blu-Ray plays perfectly and the story and action sequences are awesome! The character animations are smooth and very realistic. All in all a great film and an even greater buy.

There's a lot of negativity for this movie, however, I enjoy it and all credit to Sony for the ambition of enhancing a beloved video game series onto the BIG screen. CGI still is quite outstanding compared to today and the BLU RAY + Digital copy is good for any collection. Also, price is very reasonable.

This is a very good cgi film which only carries the final fantasy name. I do not believe it relates to any of the games. Either way the transfer to blu ray is very sharp and the cgi detail is very good especially considering the age. Good price too.

Really awesome final fantasy movie. Its got really great animation in my opinion. It's a little different than other final fantasy series but definitely a must-watch.

Opinions will vary greatly when it comes to movies, I found the characters and plot line very coherent, the animation is awesome, I thought I was watching a live action movie at some scenes, excellent science-fiction movie.

Admittedly, the story wasn't too great, but the performances were awesome and the visuals were ahead of its time. Great to see on 4K!

bout this again because i was not sure where i put it when i bought it last but again i love the price had to get it again. i love the bikes they ride and the action. its a buy if you love final fantasy

For it's time it was probably the best CGI animated movie with such advanced techniques. If you watch it now it is still very good but probably can't compare to the new FFXV movie released recently.

I am not usually in to movies like this, however I was entertained to the max. I could not believe the detail in the characters, and the movie had a really good plot.. Well done, I am a fan...

Ok ok this may not be on the top of every list but this movie is deep with its story and alot of fun with its story. This movie is never a bad idea and changed my life with its story.

This movie has benefitted greatly from being on Blu-ray after all these years. The visuals in this movie are fantastic and they look beautiful in High Definition.

Awesome Final Fantasy story. Well worth it if you are a Final Fantasy person.

Having never played the game, I didn't know what to expect but I LOVE this movie. The storyline is great, love the sci-fi, and the animation is wonderful.

This movie set the benchmark for high quality computer generated graphics and movies. Definitely worth buying. Great story with remastered HD graphics.
