Buy this one and only season of Firefly. It is hands down one of the most fun and entertaining shows I have ever seen. It is such a shame that it only lasted one season. Great stories, lots of adventure and depth. The characters are all loveable and unique in their own way. A must have for ANYONE!

this show, is unique. the writing was impeccable, the acting superb, they created a lovable underdog, that unfortunately didn't even finish its first season. it is a mix of east meets west, and past meets present, full of funny moments, and quirky one liners, cant forget captain tight pants,

Firefly was a show that came on the heels of Fox's usual brilliant decision-making--right after it cancelled my beloved Dark Angel. I first thought this show would be awful, but I sat down and watched it--and it was love. Truly. It's rare to find a show that can be taken seriously that also made me laugh out loud in every episode. The writing was extraordinary, and the actors/actresses were absolute gold. It was really like watching a movie each time around.

Great acting. Heart-wrenching stories (and back-stories). This is honestly the best thing that has been on television yet. It's premature cancellation was a true tragedy. But at least the story was wrapped up in a separate Film that capped everything nicely. If you buy this series, you WILL need to also buy the film Serenity for closure. This is the only series I recommend to EVERYONE, and no just select friends I think will enjoy it. It has everything.

Firefly was an amazing series that was too short lived. The blu-ray delves deeper behind the characters which have some loose ends tied up in the movie Serenity. Fans should keep protesting to try to get this series back. Those TV execs were foolish for cancelling this show.

This is one of the best TV shows I've had the pleasure of watching. The show is a mix of western and sci-fi, and the blend is seamless. The dialogue is very witty and there are many memorable characters. The Blu-ray itself is a large upgrade from the DVD edition, but the VFX scenes were rendered at SD resolution, so there will not be as big an upgrade there. At the current rock-bottom prices, though, this is worth an upgrade or a blind-buy.

This is one of my absolute favorite TV Shows, its such a shame it didnt make a 2nd season. If you purchase this make sure you buy Serenity as well.

I own the series on dvd and serenity on blu-ray can't wait to get it on blu-ray... they never should have canceled this show

This is one of the great 'could/should have been' sci-fi TV shows. The few episodes that were made bring the viewer into a universe which is easy to follow, introduce character you immediately care about and high level action/special effects for a TV production.

I just discovered this series. What an awesome sci fi series! It's like a fun western/future sci fi story that makes you emotionally invested in the characters. Each episode can stand alone but are intertwined as well. Great price for a ton of episodes as well.

This is a fantastic series. You will either love it or not get it at all. If there was 6 stars, I would give it 6. I never watched it on TV...my bad. Recommend highly.

I've watched Firefly on TV, and even owned the DVD before upgrading to blu-ray. Even though the graphical step-up is amazing, it's just more depressing when you realize the same episodes are there. When the show looks this good, you really want more to watch.

Even if it did only last a year, the mix of sci-fi and western themes are wonderful. Too bad it never made a comeback and it most likely never will. The episodes and Serenity movie are definitely worth a watch!

One of the best TV shows ever faced one of the greatest tragedies ever when it was cancelled after just one season. Great characters, great writing, and a great blend of action, humor, style, and suspense equals a great TV show.

I knew, knew that this series would overachieve its hype. It was fantastic, and while I was furious at its length, I was also amazed that the true love of this show has allowed it to become so much more.

I love this show, I own a few copies of it so I can spread the love to the unwashed.

This is without a doubt the greats TV show to get cancelled during it's first season. Fox screwed the pooch on this one. This show was beyond it's time and was never really given a chance. You can't take the sky from me.

A fantastic series upgraded to blu-ray hi-def. The show is great and the picture and audio qualities are worth the upgrade from DVD. If this is your first purchase - it comes highly recommended.

I am so glad that Firefly has finally been remastered for a Blu-ray release. I had to buy it when I found out. If you're a fan of the series this is a must buy,

I watched the tv series on rv and got excited when they made this to dvd. I have been wanting to buy this for sometime and so glad when I did. It wasn't a mistake
