Clean, crisp transfer. Well worth getting this classic film in 4K. This 4K transfer looks fantastic. You already know the movie itself is outstanding. If you are a fan of this film, the 4K is well worth the upgrade!

It’s okay, but had high expectations knowing was coming to 4K! My Blu-ray is the same! Not enhanced to Dolby Atmos! Sound is awful! Picture okay! Why??? Great film! Punch sounds in my Superman cartoon gave more bass!

Rambo, Predator, Terminator, and Die Hard basically designed the formula for thousands of actions films, most of which only borrowed the most bombastic, violent, effects-driven elements and some clever taglines, making stale, one-dimensional shadows of those original four films. The bulk of the "action" films coming after (of course, there have been plenty of great "action" films since) did away more and more with subtlety, essential dialogue, and the struggles/vulnerabilities of the heroes. Rambo has the missing stuff. It isn't perfect, but it isn't some silly, mindless murder-explosion-knife fight nonsense that it inspired in later films. There is a story here. And a pretty good one.

If you own just one 4K Ultra Blu-Ray with a reasonable price for a starter 4K Ultra Blu-Ray this should be your choice..! And for a Best Buy price for under $20 you can't go wrong and who doesn't like or love the Rambo film franchise..?

John Rambo was a man who just wanted to eat. However, you have a man with a badge that thinks he has the power to send ANYONE he wants to, away from His town before trouble starts. Everything would have been alright if the Sheriff would have kindly thanked him for his service and paid for his meal.

The welcomed difference that I noticed in the 4K UHD (as opposed to the standard Blu-Ray) was the color timing or HDR. To me, it looks slightly more realistic. There is appreciated color and clarity enhancement, especially the mountains shot when Rambo is arriving into town. However, there are still instances in the movie when he is on the run or hiding where the picture looks soft. Thankfully, the stuntman on the bike was kept (unlike Arnold S. on the bike in Terminator 2: Judgment Day).

Rambo First Blood is such an amazing action flick that remember fondly as a young child and thankfully it still holds up well. First Blood and Rambo 3 are the very best, although different. Their both great! 4k is only better

If you are reading this you are probably a fan and wondering if you should upgrade your Blu-ray or DVD of this fan favorite. The simply answer is absolutely. Visually the upgrade impressive. Audio is great for a film this age. For the money this one is a no brainer. Highly recommended.

This movie has become a classic in its genre. In this 4K edition, the images as well as the sound is excellent. The storyline may infuriate some anti-war people, but who really cares?

Almost 40 years later, this film feels almost more timely. Rambo’s mistreatment as he comes home from war spits on the very ideal of this country and those who put it all on the line to protect us. This movie handles all that nuance while crafting an impressive action film and the new 4k transfer delivers in spades

This is the first time watching a Rambo movie, I really, really like it. The story is simple but very engaging. I enjoyed it, can’t wait, I’m putting part 2 on the player next.

You gotta bout 3 seconds before I break your face in. Classic film on 4K. Picture quality is very good on this one. It’s Rambo, what else can you say? Hilarious lines from Sheriff Galt. Great performances!

what an awesome movie. felt lie I was watching it for the first time all over again with the amazing 4k picture. don't get me wrong I loved the old times but I also love the new. 4k is better then ok!

I was looking for a 4K copy and couldn’t find one anywhere! The only place I could find one was to buy it digital only. Low and behold, Best Buy saves the birthday surprise for my husband!! Thank you.

The legacy of First Blood has been unfairly tainted by the sequels. While this film does have some 80's action film traits, it does try to illustrate the challenges faced by Vietnam Vets in a America that did not appreciate their sacrifice at the time.

This is an excellent movie. It is the rare action flick that deals with real issues such as PTSD rather than being focused solely on big action. I would highly recommend this movie.

An old classic reborn in high definition. By far the better of the Rambo series with the exception of a really cheesy performance by Richard Crenna. His performance is quite comical, but the movie still retains its integrity.

For $13.99, I had to get it. It's First Blood!! The picture looks great, especially for an older movie. I love the slipcover too. I could watch this non stop, im so glad I picked it up!!

This was an amazing film about a Vietnam veteran, who like many of our soldiers of that time were treated horribly. Pushed to the end of his rope. John Rambo finds himself in an unfair circumstance that places him in a skirmish with the law.

I was skeptical based on previous versions of this film, however, this is an amazing 4K restoration. Now, it has some limitations based on age, so knowing that going in I’m very impressed, it was like watching the movie for the first time. Highly recommended.
