    Best Dishwasher hands down!

I love this dishwasher!! It’s so good to have the FIsher & Paykel Dish drawers again! We’ve owned this model in two previous homes, and I am THRILLED to have it back! We’ve purchased this model three times; two times in new construction homes that we sold after living in for 2 years. Our current home had a dishwasher that stopped working and I immediately knew what I was replacing it with! I knew I loved this dishwasher from my previous experiences, but I forgot how much I loved it until I got it back! You will not be disappointed! Runs quiet, dries well, sanitizes, easy to load/ unload, and it’s beautiful! I also love that you can run a small load on not feel guilty because you didn’t fill a whole dishwasher. Capacity is split between two drawers instead of one whole unit.

Our old dishwasher gave out, and we had a chance to go with a double drawer model. Ours is a small family of 3, and my brother has this same dishwasher and they are a family of 5. The flexibility of the two drawers is huge. The wash cycle is flexible and the timer is a huge help. Dishes come out very clean, with the odd exception of plates that might be close to the drawer wall. Manufacturer says always make sure things are “facing down” like glasses and bowls, and it makes a big difference. We’ve run both drawers simultaneously with no issue but usually only do one at a time. We bought magnets that say “clean/dirty” with a slide cover, which we put on each drawer which makes the management of them so much easier. The installation was really smooth and was impressed with their professionalism. We needed to have a hammer switch and a new outlet installed to bring things up to code, and then team handled this with no issue. Loved the experience. We are just wrapping up completely updating all our appliances, and have gone through Best Buy for all of them (fridge, washer/dryer), and could not say more about the high quality delivery experience we’ve had, as well as the quality of the products.

I ultimately ended up choosing this Fisher & Paykel double drawer dishwasher out of necessity more than anything else. The house we moved into had custom cabinetry and our existing dishwasher was a Kitchen Aid double drawer dishwasher. These double drawer dishwashers typically run a little smaller than the standard size dishwashers, so I was pretty limited in my dishwasher selection based on the smaller than standard cutout size available. There were other options available- some not available for a number of months due to supply chain issues while there were others we just liked less. Now that I've provided some context for my selection, let me touch on a few pros and cons of this dishwasher: Pros: - Beautiful, sleek dishwasher- I love how the dishwasher is flush with my cabinetry and doesn't extend out at all. The stainless steel gives it a nice modern feel and gives an overall very clean looking presentation. - Double drawers- Since we have a small family, the double drawer function works great for us. The smaller load allows us to easily run smaller loads as we desire without having to feel bad about not filling out the dishwasher completely. - Quiet- the wash cycles for the dishwasher are relatively quiet and does not end up being much of a distraction - Dishes and glasses come out very clean. The water in our city is very hard, so using rinse aid is a must. With that said, things can still come out differently based on the dishwasher and we noticed a considerably positive difference between the lack of hard water spots and stains now compared to our previous dishwasher. Cons: - Expensive. The price tag here is hard to get behind. It totally makes sense that a double drawer dishwasher would be more expensive as there are double the parts in some case, but based on my research, there are plenty of options available at half the price that seem like they would work just as well and may even have better options. -Technology- Very standard features here. As noted above, I think there are plenty of cheaper dishwashers available that have more options and features. - More likely to have problems- With two drawers in the dishwashers instead of one, you have certain things that you need double of compared to a normal dishwasher. The more parts required, the higher the chance of something breaking or not functioning properly. Nothing in particular to note that might be breaking, but I think it's a thought worth keeping in mind when determining your choice of dishwasher. - Noisy. While the wash cycle is relatively quiet and not a distraction at all, the drainage and drying process is on the louder side. Granted, I'd rather have this part of the process loud than the wash process, but still worth noting that it is rather loud when the drawer is draining the water. All in all, I gave this dishwasher a 4 star rating as we have been happy with the dishwasher overall, but still aren't convinced the price justifies the sleek design or double drawers. The cost to install and remove a dishwasher adds up quick at Best Buy, so I would highly suggest looking into purchasing a TotalTech membership as the price is pretty similar and you get more warranty, return, and support benefits. One final thing to note, when ordering this dishwasher online, the "Smart Choice - Universal 6' Deluxe Dishwasher Install Kit - Multi" was an essential add on. I believe everything from this kit that you would need for the installation is already provided with the dishwasher as my installation technician did not touch it at all, so it's worth checking to see if you can just get away with not ordering it at all or you can just return the kit back to Best Buy afterwards like I did.

It has a nice, clean, modern look to it. The color is not a bright stainless steel, but a more muted one. It has worked out to where I put my glasses in the bottom one, and plates etc. in the top one. My only issue with it is that I can’t fit cutting boards into it. This would be a bigger problem for me if I cooked a lot. It is an inconvenience. I like the look and the programming and it works great. One other thing is I notice the Cascade Platinum gel pacs clean the dishes better than the powder detergent. So I normally only use the gel pacs.

Thin steel - dents easy - loud

I'll start by saying this is our 4th dish drawer. I used to have a single on each side of my sink. I loved the singles. As things failed we would replace or repair with parts from saved units. Decided to replace only one of them with the stacked drawers and get rid of the other single drawer. The difference on the quality and thickness of stainless steel on the old vs the new is night and day. The old ones had zero nicks, zero dents after 10-20 years of use. These bend even by pushing them in between the cabinets. Second thing - they run loud. Old ones were very quiet. These are very loud and in drain mode are so crazy loud. Not great for open concept home. I think I should have tried replacing with an older model, but liking the flat front, we went for it. They do a good job of cleaning, have more space inside. I put my old/old utensil caddy in, because I like the open handle for washing jar rings, etc... Review photos show how curved the steel is and how the dents only show in the right lighting.

Had to get a new dishwasher after 17 yrs. Decided to replace with the double drawer Fisher Pamela. It’s just the two of us so we don’t have huge loads. We like the ease of pulling out the drawer and it’s very quiet.

This is an amazing dishwasher! I really love the way it looks and how it fits our space. My only complaint is that our larger plates do not fit, so they have to be hand washed.

Fisher Paykel for the win, bought it again. Nice dishwasher for our lifestyle. Love the double drawers. I have to learn to navigate the new button panel- need to keep eye glass readers available! Our original dishwasher was from 2008. Still works, so we put it in the rental house and bought a new one for us.

The Fisher & Paykel 2-Drawer Dishwasher is a fantastic blend of convenience, efficiency, and modern design. Its dual-drawer setup allows for flexible washing—run a small load in one drawer while the other stays empty or handles a different cycle. The quiet operation and sleek aesthetics make it a perfect fit for any kitchen. Dishes come out spotless, and the customizable wash settings ensure excellent performance for everything from delicate glassware to heavily soiled pots. If you're looking for a high-quality, user-friendly dishwasher, this one is a top choice!

I like this dishwasher because it cleans well and has two separate drawers to wash dishes. However, I would have preferred a black front and it only was available in stainless. One misleading feature is how long the cycles last. I choose the fast cycle, supposed to be 45 minutes but after timing it several times, it actually is 60 minutes of active washing, then another hour plus for drying time. Just be aware that you won’t be able to access your dishes for almost 3 hours.

This two drawer dishwasher is amazing. It is perfect for single people and small families as you most of the time only need to use one drawer for a load of dishes. It is whisper quiet to the point you don't know it is actually working. The dishes come out clean and there are multiple settings depending on how dirty the dishes are. Highly recommend it.

The dishwasher is convenient and efficient to use. With the two drawers, it meets the day-to-day demand perfectly. Noise level is super low! After about 4 months, the bottom trim came apart - may be it wasn't installed correctly. We have scheduled repair appointment. Will update this review after the repair.

this is the 4th one I have owned. Every model get better. This latest model has awesome handles, so quiet and I can do 50% more dishes than a single door. Just don't understand why these are not the most popular on the market. I would never have a single door again.

That was worth it for us to wait for this dishwasher for almost 3months, including the time period when bestbuy messed up the original order. My wife love the two drawer separate washing system. You can keep loading the other while one drawer is in action. The cleaning quality is also very good, actually much better compared to other traditional dishwasher, due to the compactness of each drawer. The only disappointment is, in the user manual, it is strictly says, do not use liquid/gel detergent, but only powder detergent. (you can use the pouches, but not the pouring liquid).
