This is an incredible little gadget! It fits perfectly and although it is not waterproof, it's okay! Although it has no heart rate monitor, I think if you are aiming for style, ease of use, simplicity, and day to day activity monitoring you should be good with this model. Unlike the other Alta's, this special edition (black/gold) is even more gorgeous and stylish! I get so many compliments while at work, with friends, or out at night. Yes I wear it to clubs because it just looks like an ordinary bracelet! I'm a guy, but I think it would look equally as great on a woman. The flick of the wrist feature is great, screen is always view-able even in direct sunlight. The fitbit app is great and links up to the Alta without a problem on my Samsung Galaxy Note 5.

The Alta does everything I need it to except keeping track of floors climbed but I knew this beforehand. Love the fact that it keeps time, notifies me of texts, calls and calendar appointments and a charge lasts almost a week.

I purchased it for my mother in law. She works as a CNA at a hospital. She walks alot and keeps an accurate count of her steps. It's hooked up to her phone as well and she only has to charge it once a week. Great product.

Great device , love the fit and all the things it is capable of . Only negative is the band starts to break after some wear ; and avoid water at all costs it will be ruined with not much water on it

This Fitbit is an excellent tool to help me keep track of my steps, set goals, track my sleep and keep active. I do recommend it to anyone interested in keeping track of these things. It is easy to set up and comfortable.

I LOVE the Alta Fitbit! It's a great size, and the notifications from Texts and Calls are AWESOME!! This is a replacement for a HR, and we like this one so much better! It has the 250 step reminder which is fun and useful!

I wasn't sure if I would enjoy wearing a Fitbit, but I wanted to give it a try to help me make small changes in my daily activity level. The soothing vibration reminders are great to remind me to move after sitting at a desk too long. The unique feature of text messages appearing on the screen has been helpful when my phone was out of reach, my hands full, or just too busy. The caller ID also pops up on the Fitbit screen. I have had it a few months now and I have enjoyed tracking my sleep as well. The product seems to be durable and the deep plum color blends in with a lot of my clothing. I have a lot of friends using the app who challenge me. It's a great way to increase physical activity through being mindful throughout the entire day of taking a few extra steps here or there.

I purchased this after owning a Charge HR, which it seemed like I was charging every 2 days. The Alta is much slimmer and has all the same features except for the Heart rate monitor. Very comfortable and has good battery life.

My husband bought me this Fitbit as a gift and I absolutely love it! It is so much prettier than the older versions, plus it keeps track of your steps more accurately. I like that it shows me my sleep patterns on my phone too.

I previously had the Fitbit One but when I lost it, I had to buy a new one. I'm glad I lost it! The Alta is fantastic! It tracks my exercise, steps, and sleep. It also tells me when it's time to start winding down for bed!

I like the slender look and the different fashion band options for the Alta. Also the reminder to get up and move after sitting for an hour is nice, we have all got deep into our work and got up with cramps from sitting too long. This Fitbit helps curb that. Very easy to set up, even when i have my other fitbit connected to my devices. It's limitations are activation of the clock face, it takes "quite a few" taps on the face to get the display to come up (quite a few=3 or 4 taps). So far it seems to be getting all my steps although a bit of adjustment when the Alta doesn't count stairs and my charge did. I have yet to be able to hook up the caller Id feature it is suppose to have. Otherwise it's a nice upgrade from the Charge for which there was no replacement bands.

Exactly what I was looking for. Easy to wear and forget. A single charge lasts about a week, though it does seem to vary based on activity level. I like the app. It's been exactly the motivation I was looking for.

I love my fitbit! It was so easy to download onto my devices. I love being able to track my steps, miles, etc. It motivates me to do more. Plus I enjoy getting "badges" for my accomplishments. It is well worth the money!

I waited for the Alta to come out, and it was worth the wait. The options for your style of exercise, or actual style are endless. Very intuitive, easy setup, it makes it easy to attain your goals, and encourages you along the way. One of the best aspects, is being able to change the band, you can have metal, leather, silicone in about a hundred different colors. This is a quality product, very durable, the charge lasts almost a week, depending on how often you obsess over your steps, and you will. The Alta charges fast, about 20 minutes for a full charge. The Bluetooth capability does not seem to alter battery life on either the Alta or my phone. This Fitbit is amazing, the Alta makes working out fun, and easy for friends to join in with challenges as well.

I wish this Fitbit had a heart rate monitor on it.

It tracks my steps perfectly! Also it is easier to enter my food eaten that day than any other app on have found! It also tracks my sleep! It gives me weekly reviews and you can have challenges with out fitbit friends!

Works great and it is very easy to use and set up.
