Customers regard the Alta Activity Tracker (Large) favorably for its sleep tracking, ease of use, and comfortable size. Many appreciate the long battery life and stylish design, along with features like step tracking and notifications. However, some users wish for a heart rate monitor and improved water resistance. A few also noted challenges with the clasp mechanism.

    So far, so good

I changed to the fitbit after using the Jawbone for over a year. I really liked the jawbone for size of tracker and small wristband. However, I changed to the fitbit because of the compatibility with other fitness apps and wealth of other options with the fitbit brand. So far, I like how it performs. I like the options that it offers. I do not like the size of the tracker and the bands that you can purchase for use with it. It is a bit bigger and clunkier than the jawbone. It does what I need it to do which is track my movements throughout the day and reminds me to get up from my desk when I've been sitting too long. I just hope it is as durable as I need it to be. I do not want to have to buy another one within 6 months.

Fitbit Alta a Decent Fitness Wearable

So far I like this Alta. I have tried a couple of other devices from Fitbit and a couple from Garmin. The Alta does a lot including connecting to my iPhone to show texts and phone calls. The only complaint I have is about the band. It is difficult to fasten as it takes a lot pressure to get the two studs to snap in to their respective holes. If the band had a watch type clasp I would rate this product at 100% great. So far the battery life has been good taking about 5-6 days between charges. My older Garmin had a one year battery (throw-away type, not rechargeable). I like the Garmin system better but I have a hard time seeing the Garmin at night. The Alta is bright and can be read by my old eyes in the dark without my glasses.

My Fitbit Alta does everything as advertised. I have no issues, battery lasts about a week on each charge. I did turn off some of the notifications to help save the battery. I like the reminders to get moving.

I upgraded to this one after my charge hr broke and I like how it is smaller than the charge. I wish it would have had the heart rate, i know they have the charge hr2 but I preferred the smaller size of the Alta.

I love my Fitbit Alta. I'd had the HR before and find the Alta much better. Of course, it doesn't do heart rate but I like all the other features such as hourly movement reminders. Plus, the Alta is much more stylish.

Works great! It's exactly what I wanted. Keeps track of all my activity as well as my sleep. I like that I can tell the time with it and it's cool that the display only shows when I raise my wrist up to look at it.

I love seeing how many steps I've taken and how many calories are burned. But my two favorite things are being challenged to walk 250 steps every hour and to see how long and how well I slept the night before.

I just love my fitbit. It keeps tracks of eveything I need to do to reach my daily goal. It even reminders you when you need to get up and move around. Best investment I have made is a long time.

This FitBit is small like the flex but has some the same things as the more expensive ones. I like that I can see who is calling me. I would like to have a heart rate monitor but this one does what I need

I love this version!!! It's slim and sleek and totally cute… But so much better than the flex. You have the screen so you can see the date, time, steps and so much more and the battery life is incredible!

I had 2 primary reasons for wanting Fitbit: 1) I wanted to have an accurate as possible track of my sleep 2) I liked the idea of the reminder to get up an move, when I've been sitting for a while... I tend to be reading, and lose all track of time! The ability to track my daily number of steps is an added benefit. I don't like the inability to adjust the tracker based on personal circumstances. I have PT twice per week for back issues... I ride an recumbent bike. The Fitbit will not track this exercise. It also seems that if I wake up after 7:00am & need to use the restroom, when I go back to sleep, it is no longer tracked as sleep. All in all, the Fitbit nicely does what I want it to.

I wanted a new fitbit and this was perfect. Great size... accurate. The only downside is that the charge does not last a full week. I it needs recharge sooner than the "Charge" I was replacing.
