Customers are saying

Customers regard the Alta Activity Tracker (Large) favorably for its sleep tracking, ease of use, and comfortable size. Many appreciate the long battery life and stylish design, along with features like step tracking and notifications. However, some users wish for a heart rate monitor and improved water resistance. A few also noted challenges with the clasp mechanism.

My 3rd Fitbit. (Zip, charge) definitely improvement from others Pros: more sleek, registers workouts for you so no manual logging required unless want it to be more specific ( i.e. Mow lawn is "sport"). can change band to fit mood, really great for text alerts to see part of sent message, can set alarm which is pretty neat wake up Cons: doesn't register stairs. Bike ride not registered regularly but think it's because a smooth surface is harder to sense so bumpier ride=better calibration So overall I love it! They obviously do their homework because each new model improves on the last . The cons are big enough to cost it a star

The setup was easy and I was able to start using it right away. The fit bit keeps me on track during the day to get my steps in. I like that with just a tap I can check my steps.

I really like this item as it keeps me motivated to move. you can set it up to send you messages and remind to get up and move for at least 250 steps each hour. you can compete in a good way with friends that have any kind of fitbit to stay motivated to reach your daily goals. Recently they added Adventures which still needs a lot of fixing since it is a new concept but it is a great idea as yo get to go on an adventure as you add to your steps. The only thing I am unhappy about is that Alta does not count stairs since it doesn't have an altimeter. I really liked the design on this one so i wish it would come with the altimeter.

I like the Fitbit Alta as it is small but still provides a clock and other information. Would give it 5 stars if it was water resistant, but otherwise I really like the Alta.

The Alta has a sleek design and the text and calendar notifications are a huge plus. I do miss the heart rate feature of my previous Charge HR. Besides that, the Alta is great.

My wife had requested this particular Fitbit model and received it on Mother's Day. She is very happy with it, especially the steps-tracking and reminders.

Easy to use and set up. Like the way you can easily interchange the different color bands. The charge lasts a long time and conveniently able to charge it without a computer.

Love this upgrade from the Flex to the Alta. Display feature alone is worth it. The battery life is much better and notification feature makes this Fitbit worth the purchase

This is my second type of Fitbit and I have to say this is better than the Fitbit Charge. It's smaller and you can change the bands. This is a great activity tracker.

I love this Fitbit Alta! I wear it every day, and it's great to track activity but also to use as a watch, and it even has notifications (texts & calls).

Recently, I decided to take charge of my health and get in shape. Part of that was purchasing a fitness tracker so that I could better keep tabs on my progress. I don't like anything too large on my wrist, but I prefer a screen so that I'm not whipping out my phone to check progress, etc. This fits the bill perfectly. It's small enough to be unobtrusive, but large enough to still let me see time, calories burned, steps, etc. I also love being able to switch the bands out. The app is very easy to use, and has helped me get a clearer picture of my overall activity and health. Definitely recommend.

Easy to operate. Synced to computer easily and updates with no problem. Battery lasts a long time between charges. Enjoy the little reminders it gives me to be active.

This fitbit looks good, seems accurate, very lightweight, and comfortable but beware it DOES NOT read you heart rate or floors (elevation) and does not come with the stop watch feature to accurately identify when you are working out; for the money you pay it should do these things; another negative thing is that the band can be hard to put on (i suggest buying a band separate with a buckle); Overall I would suggest not buying this and paying the extra few bucks for the fitbit charge

I've been using Fitbit products for almost 4 years and love the Alta the best. It has the best design. The only downside is that it doesn't have a HE monitor

I had a Fitbit Charge before and wore it out. The broken band gave me a reason to upgrade to the Alta and I love the size of it and display. It tracks exercise much better than the Charge as well and has decent battery life. My favorite feature? It reminds me at 10 minutes of every hour during the day to get up and move if I've been sitting the whole hour. It's a nice reminder and hopefully I'll heed it more often as time goes on. The only challenging thing: the wrist flick has taken some getting used to - I haven't quite finessed it yet, but it's good overall. You can't go wrong with a Fitbit.
