I liked it a lot. simple and easy to understand use. The only concern I have is that when the alarm goes off you have to double tap the screen to turn it off. well... it's not sensitive for it to tell that I've been tapping it. I like a button like the old generation have. easy to go through then tapping. other then that it is pretty good. black is expensive and the purple was cheaper. which I don't understand...

The Fitbit Alta replaced my previous Garmin Vivosmart due to having bad displays on two of them. I like the Fitbit and it does what I want but I wish the battery lasted longer than 5 days and that it was really water proof like the Garmin and not just splash and sweat proof. Fitbit has one of the best apps and it is definitely better than Garmin's. If it had a longer battery life and I could swim with it, I would give it 5 stars.

Great step tracker, easy to use and super light. Also like the battery, holds a very long charge.

I like this streamlined design as compared to my previous Fitbit which was chunkier and subject to wrist band erosion after six month's wear. However, I find this new model very difficult to snap on securely. So I press the button under the display monitor to fasten or remove . The model I chose does not record my stair steps, but I can live without this feature. All in all, I am quite pleased with my Fitbit.

Bought a Fitbit to just start tracking my steps, fell in love with the Bluetooth connectivity features. iPhone app is great for a comprehensive look at your progress, weight loss tracking, hours of sleep, types of activity, etc. Biggest plus is the battery. Recharge maybe once a week and it is a quick charge. Would recommend a Fitbit to anyone who is looking for a quick easy way to integrate fitness goals into their life.

Bought this to replace a 3-year-old Flex. Overall, I'm happy with the performance and accuracy. It's a little thicker than the Flex and apparently not as water resistant, but it displays more information and more detail on each measurement, and the charging is easier. I like the one-arm movement to display the time. My one gripe is that the display is too dim/small to read in bright daylight--I have to find shade to read it.

I love my Alta, very acurate and easy to wear. Goes days before having to charge it up again.

4th Fitbit purchased for the family, exactly what my son needed to move his workouts to the next level. The tracking system is helping him shed pounds left & right.

every time a new model comes out, I'm flustrated (see what I did there? flustered+frustrated=flustered). I read about the new feature the new one has which mine didn't and cave in to gifting mine off and getting the new one. Not any more! This was is designed to be a keeper! Though I do wish ToryBurch (sp?) made accessories for the alta like they did for the older versions, then it'd be getting those for my wife.

My FitBit is exactly what I wanted. I feel as if I get an accurate step count as opposed to some of the belt buckle pedometers that I have used before. I love that I can sync it with other health programs that I use. The weight history and sleep study that it does are also great. If I had to choose one thing that I wish I could change about it....I wish it was waterproof so that I could swim with it.

good if you want thinner size bracelet but want all the other features. but no heart rate.

Very well designed. Not too big or bulky. Like the fact that the bands are interchangeable.

I purchased this activity tracker for my wife so she could use it as a watch also. I have the Fitbit flex and was impressed with that, but this activity tracker is even better. The Fitbit Alta is very easy to use. It is convenient to charge and the charge lasts about a week with normal activity. I would recommend purchasing this activity tracker if you're looking for an entry level model with a few additional features.

nice, looks like a bracelet, however it only give readings as 3k for example, my charge used to give the actual number of steps, calories, miles etc. It helped to know exact numbers so you know how much more you needed to do. Also charge was easier to see numbers, and easier to put on. This is tricky to put on, But I love the reminders it gives when you have not moved recently. overall I like it.
