I love this thing. It's a great fitness tracker and semi smart watch in one. It's not and Apple or Samsung watch if that's what you're looking for. But if you want something that will tell you to get up and move every hour if you haven't met the 250 steps per hour this will do it. It tracks several different exercises and constantly monitors your heart rate. It's everything I need in a fitness tracker with the bonus of a smart watch.

This watch does exactly what I need it to do. I was looking for something that was between an activity tracker and a full fledged smartwatch. I found that with the Blaze. It has some very basic smartwatch features such as incoming call and text message notifications. The activity tracker has been great and easy to view on the watch. If you're looking for something that has just enough smartwatch features with full activity tracking, this is it.

After reading a lot of reviews on the blaze and the surge I decided to go with the blaze. I'm happy that I did. It's smaller and looks nicer than the surge. The fact that it doesn't have gps built in is fine, I alway keep my phone on me anyway. That's where I keep my music. It's extremely light and the color screen is nice. I like that I can control my music and see my text messages. Plus you can change the band to match your outfits. Buy the blaze!!

If you are a Fitbit fan (or even if you've never had one), then I would highly recommend the Blaze. I love it and I wouldn't give it up unless Fitbit comes out with something better in the future. I have had two of the other models, the Flex and the Surge. I like the Blaze better than the Flex for several reasons. The first reason is the display difference. The Flex shows only dots to indicate how close you are to your daily goal. The Blaze shows everything from the time to your calories burned. Another reason I would choose the Blaze of the flex would be its ability to do much more than the Flex. It connects to my phone alerting me to text messages, allowing me to read the text messages, alerting me to phone calls, missed calls, and alerts. It also allows to to track my exercise with more ease. I can control my exercise from the watch and I am able to use GPS to get a more precise breakdown of my exercise. I like it better than the Surge for a few reasons also. I love the colored screen! The Surge was just black and white. I love being able to read my texts, see who is calling, answer or decline a call, and get alerts. Overall the Blaze is a great watch and I will continue to use it until Fitbit makes their next great watch.

The watch fits my arm nicely, works consistently and has the features I wanted most: HR monitor (seems to be in the ballpark on the two I checked it against for reference), step counter, time and alerts, there are a myriad of other features, but they are all right on the face (with the option I chose) and that's exactly what I use. I explore the other options but it's nice to have what I wanted right where it's needed.

I switched from the garmin vivo and this one performs just as well, minus the battery life. It still has a decent battery life but I’m finding myself charging it every night.

    Better Than The Surge

Had a Surge, and needed to apply moleskin inside the watchband to reduce incidences of a rash. Upgraded to a Blaze, and couldn't be happier. Bought a separate leather band for $15 to replace the standard band, and no more moleskin! You lose an internal GPS tracker, but I didn't use that anyway...and you can link a smartphone GPS if you needed that functionality. Also good that the face is thinner...fits much better under a shirtsleeve.

This is my first fitbit product and quite happy. Haven't yet used all the features. The reason I gave 4 stars is because sometimes it needs more than one attempt to show time.

I'm really enjoying this watch. It's easy to use and keeps me aware every day of what I'm doing and eating. I don't have to count calories or look up any foods myself because the Blaze food list has so many including fast food. I like not having to keep track of food or water on a sheet of paper that usually gets misplaced. I gave it 5 stars even though the battery life is not as longer as the manufacturer advertises.

I bought this on Black Friday because it was so inexpensive. It does exactly what I expected it to do, and will hold me over until I decide to upgrade to the newer model.

This watch is really great for keeping up with my activity levels. I'm recovering from surgery and I need to know just how much movement I am accomplishing. It's also good to have the ability to set my stride length, which improves the accuracy of the readings. The app helps track all my goals at he end of each week. Only complaint is the rubbery sports band sticks to my skin to much - so I bought a metal band to switch off to.

After having read mixed reviews about this item, I purchased it and so far have not had any issues with it whatsoever. The battery life is great, the screen looks amazing, although the border around the screen is slightly larger than i hoped. I have not had any glitching issues or connectivity issues and think that everything about it is great.
