Customers are saying

Customers recognize the Blaze Smart Fitness Watch (Small) for its excellent sleep and activity tracking, ease of use, and generally positive battery life. Many appreciate the heart rate monitoring and notification features, although some wish for improved water resistance and GPS capabilities. This thing has changed my life.

I am an unabashed computer loving nerd and I have a hard time pulling myself away from one. It's not uncommon to see me sitting down for 6 hours or more, staring at a screen. I was just looking for a lower end smartwatch that could monitor my heart rate for health reasons... What actually ended up happening is I got sucked in by all the tracking data and started pushing myself to do more. And while I do have some gripes about the "watch" part of this device (missing features that have existed on most regular digital watches for years) the ability for it to get me up and actually outside is just completely remarkable. In just three days since buying it, I've already started looking for the best places to get my steps in and planning walk or run routes around town. While I wouldn't hardly leave my house, now, public locations I would have no reason to go to are becoming a welcome playground... and I haven't even ventured into the social side of it yet. It's actually putting more things in reach for me. Having started to bump up my stamina, it's just as easy to walk out the front door and have a quick jaunt down the road as it is to get in the car and have to worry about parking in some areas. I have to say it's far more awesome to throw some food in a bag and chill out in a park for lunch than to pop something in the microwave and nosh in front of a screen. Anyway, if one thing can get a sunlight-averse nerd some sunshine and nature, I'd say it's worth every penny, but I still need to carry around my old watch once in a while.

Tried several & settled on the Blaze. Really like the color screen & how flat it lies on my wrist... Unlike the Charge HR which sticks up and catches on sleeves. I especially like the Fitstar exercises you can tap into on the screen. You're never at a loss for a 7 minute workout or a 10 minute ab workout....with no extra cost for a Fitstar membership. I also like that I'm able to buy a glass protector from Amazon to fit the Blaze screen. I bought 2 right away...as someone reviewed that the screen scratched up easily. Get a protector on ASAP. Also need to have wifi/Bluetooth on your phone 'on' for the alarm to work in the AM. Overall, very happy with it. Would buy again. Battery lasts pretty long. Seems accurate.

    Great Fitness Watch

I got this watch as an incentive to start working out more and keep a good record of my work out details. Most of the workouts and fitness routines that I would do are more circuit training as well as weight training, and the two options on the workout module keep a good record of what I accomplished in the workout. One of the features that I really enjoy is seeing how many calories you burn during your workout and comparing it to other workouts that you have done in the week. It is really lightweight and durable so it does not bother me while I am working out and can withstand kickboxing workouts as well as TRX workouts. It is a great fitness watch for someone who is a very avid gym goer and works out 6 times a week but is also great for someone who is just starting his or her work out routine 2-3 times a week. The other aspect of this watch that I enjoy is the fact that you can receive notifications from your phone. It is really handy when you are working out and don’t want to have your phone attached to your side and constantly checking it to see if you have a message, instead the watch will do one short vibrate when you receive a notification. You also have the ability to choose what aps you receive notifications from and can delegate which app is your primary for texts and planning. The only down side of this watch is the range at which it can receive notifications. If you are a super busy person and always have someone messaging you, I would suggest keeping the notifications off or limited and keeping your phone with you since you cannot receive notifications when you are roughly 6 feet away from your phone. Overall, this is an amazing watch for anyone who wants a smart watch that has an android phone. It has a great fitness tracker that analyzes heart rate and duration to calculate calories burned as well as a great notification system within a certain range.

A fitness tracker, not a smartwatch

I own a fitbit charge and the functionalities on the blaze is all the same. The only difference now is that you can control you music and get text/call notifications , get a Fitstar app(which show you how to warm up, and provide a 7-10 minutes workout session), 24/7 heart rate, and battery life roughly around 5 days (I don't touch it much, as there is nothing els you can do on it beside fitness). Yes, the display has color now and prettier, but overall, it is still only a fitness tracker. I feel that there is alot of wasted space on the cube, since the screen only take up roughly about 70% space of the square. I would expect 90% at least. When you wear it, it like a big watch, but the display is tiny when it turned on comparing to the overall size of the device. Overall, I'm not entire trilled with the fact that it label itself as a smart watch, because it isn't. Smartwatch would be something like the iWatch where you can control many different apps from your watch, reply to notifications, etc. Perhaps, in the near future with new software releases that can truly make this a smartwatch. If you are looking for smartwatch, then this isn't it. If you're looking for a fitness tracker device with colorful display, and ability to control music (rewind/forward/volume control) then this is the device for you.

This watch is awesome! I love the heart rate monitor and the different exercise settings. When the weather is too bad to run outside, I use the treadmill setting. I also do the exercises that are preprogrammed on the watch after each run. My favorite feature would have to be the step counter and the ability to challenge my friends to see who gets the most steps in a set time period. I am planning on getting different bands for my watch once the new wears off, because they are so easy to change.

I Love my Fitbit, I use to have the little one that pretty much only counted my steps. This one does everything it says. I love tracking my work which is the main reason o got it, being able to track spinning and weights is great. Only bad thing I have to say is that it's really bright during the night I do leave it on I wish I could dim the light more it's a little to much for me. But other than that I love it

I love this fitness smart watch and not only is it super functional but also stylist ( especially with the different band options). It has different watch layouts to choose for, music control, incoming call and text message notifications, automatic fitness tracker, heart rate monitor, and much more. the design is very sleek and not large and bulbous.

It's a fun toy. I really enjoy the sleep tracking. Don't know how accurate the pulse is, but it's pretty close to the one when I'm on the treadmill. I enjoy the incentives it gives you and the notifications when I'm away from my phone at work. Since I am a nurse this overall encourages my healthy and it's a fun gadget. If only the clock had a seconds hand for taking pulse!

Best way to go with Fitbit!

I researched which Fitbit I wanted to purchase for months and was very pleased with the Blaze! It keeps text notifications, heart rate, alarms, timers, and looks very nice. The only issue with this product is after each workout with a lot of sweat the band needs to be sanitized otherwise it starts to smell.

I was not sure if I should purchase this when it first came out. I was mostly leaning towards a Microsoft band as I love its design and power features. My main concern from the Fitbit blaze was it's larger appearance and limited smart watch abilities. They also did not have any on display so it was hard to decide. Luckily, an employee had one on hand and showed it to me. His wrists were similar size as mine (small) and the watch looked great on it. The smart watch features were enough for me (I do not need watch apps) and the notifications and music control worked well. I bought a blue one with a black band as well for business outfits. The watch looks professional enough to wear with any outfit and has a good style. My only annoyances are... -people ask wayyyy too much if it is an Apple Watch, I have to explain it is a Fitbit over and over to many confused faces -Charging is weird. You have to pop the device out of the watch and put it in a cradle, it does charge fast though. Great device and worth the money
