The Fitbit Blaze is a pretty good tracker

The Fitbit Blaze exercise tracker with heart and sleep monitor is a pretty good unit so far. I have had it since April and the battery charges and last for up to 5 days. I wear it during the day and while sleeping since it is important for me to track my sleep patterns and heartrate. I had 2 Fitbit HR trackers where each died after 3 months. The Lithium Ion battery did not last like the Palomar batter on the Blaze is supposed to. The Blaze appears to synch and upgrade better too. Overall, the Blaze is working well for me. Let's see what happens when I hit the 3 month mark! I would recommend the Blaze to friends and family. It is pricey, but will prove to be worth the price if it lasts longer than the Fitbit HR did for me. I do strongly recommend buying the warranty with any of these units as BestBuy replaces the unit if it breaks down.

After cardiac rehab, I wanted to know my heart rate on a continual basis so I purchased the FitBit Blaze watch. I've found it so useful that I'm never without it. My heart rate, number of steps, calories burned, sleep stats - and so much more - is immediately available. Additionally, the text size is easy to read. There's also an online application to sync with the watch to provide weekly totals (very useful). The Blaze watch is well worth the money!

    Love my Fitbit!

I've had my Fitbit for a year and it's everything I was looking for. I wanted a watch that could track my steps and miles, but also something that had a clock, timer, and stopwatch. The Blaze offers all that, and more. I've been a Fitbit owner in the past, and I preferred their phone app and watch to the Apple Watch and app. The biggest con of owning the blaze is that you can't respond to your text messages from the watch, like you can on the Apple watch, but the pros of owning the blaze is its phone app, its accuracy (always more accurate step count than the Apple Watch), price point, and it's ability to hold a charge for several days at a time. I love it so much, I even bought my boyfriend one so we could challenge each other to competitions through the Fitbit app. I'd definitely recommend if you're looking for a reliable fitness tracker.

I purchased my Blaze the first day it was available. I love the battery life. Lasts much longer than the HR fitbit. I like being able to read my text messages would be nice to be able to respond but having the ability to read the messages is extremely nice.

Best alternative fitwatch to Apple watch

Good looking like Apple Watch, light weight. Best fit for runners. Pluses: text, call, alarm notifications Touch screen. Fitness assistant. Option to track running, exercise, cycling, weight base exercises. Above all no need pay high cost like Apple Watch. Those who want to buy Apple Watch can buy this watch with reasonable price!! Few observations: it seems the steps is calculated not so accurate(woke up with few steps count!) GPS is available only when you carry the phone with you. Heard heart rate is not accurate. But not sure. Please investigate before you buy for that option.

I've updated my fitness tracker to the Fitbit Blaze. Love the enhanced features including heart rate, syncs with my iPhone (get messages and phone call notifications); workouts provided, etc. Looks great and lots of interchangeable bands, if you are fashion conscious!

I love my Fitbit Blaze! The app is easy to use and helps you set goals. I track my calorie intake, water intake and activity. Since purchasing the Fitbit Blaze a month a go I have lost 5 lbs! I tell all of my friends they should get one! My 9 year old loves it too and wants one. I might consider starting him out with a smaller Fitbit like an Alta but for sure will buy another Fitbit.

The Blaze has most of the features of the surge with the exception of the GPS function which is well compensated by the fact that most everyone travels with their phone which provides GPS function via bluetooth. Tested it versus my surge when my wife and i went hiking. I had my surge and she had her Blaze. Worked as if it had GPS via bluetooth.

My 73-year-old mother has been wanting a fitness watch for a long Time :) ! Having skipped the first edition I had no idea how to set it up for her and like other popular products the directions are not in a box. After finding them online everything went smooth sailing and she's counting her steps great product that it was in stock !

I love this Fitbit. This is my first fitness tracker, and I've been waiting for the Blaze to be released. I'm glad I did. I have very SMALL wrists, and I was really worried that it would be overwhelmingly huge. It is quite big(for me), but I would say the face is about the same as the Apple iWatch. I love that this is more affordable, and still offers many of the same features. The heart rate monitor is great! it seems to record steps very accurately, and the sleep tracker is dead on. It's really cool to see how your sleep patterns work and has been very insightful. Dying to take it on a run if this incessant rain would quit. Also can't wait to invest in a leather band to give a more classy look. Great purchase!

I love being able to track my activity as well be able track outgoing and incoming calories. It helps track diferent modes of excercise a showing auto recognises different modes if you forget to set modes. It also lets you add if something was not tracked appropriately.

I need a watch for work and love that this one also keeps me updated as to how many steps I've taken and keeps me motivated to get my 10,000 steps in a day! The notification feature that allows you to see incoming calls and read incoming texts is a great feature, as well. A fantastic way to get fit and be informed!

Great tracker but the band broke

I had the Fitbit HR with extended warranty but I returned it two or three times before I selected the Blaze instead. I am glad I purchased the extended warranty on the Blaze as well. While the Blaze tracker is functionally pretty good and I like it, I could only give it 3 stars because the band that came with it is a big fail. What good is a tracker if you can't wear it? I woke up this morning and it had tore completely through where it connects to the silver holder. I would have lost it if it hadn't happened at home. I never caught it on anything, nor did I wear it too tight. I never changed out the bands either but I did routinely wipe it down as instructed. This was just normal use for 6 months. I will return it for a replacement but will consider purchasing a metal or leather band to use and keep the plastic one for workouts only.

I would give this a 5 if Fitbit would update the app to make the time/date screen larger. Purchased brand off market and have received many comments asking is that the other more expensive brand? Otherwise great watch. I do have to take it off to wash hands even though it claims to be water resistant.

I love it that it reads my hr and that shows me as active every day. I don't need to go for a walk or run for my heart rate to be read. Thank you FITBIT.

It does everything I was hoping for, I find my sleeping pattern is not what it should be, so know why I am tired. Heart rate I've found gets a little low. Easy to learn to use.
