My Charge 2 broke so I got the Charge 3. It works fine but I do not like the way it displays the data when you hit the watch. You now need to swipe. Liked the Charge 2 way of hitting the side button better. Also does not always sync well with my Iphone. Maybe something I am doing.

This is my 3rd fit bit. I have one for myself but this was purchased as a gift because I love the longevity and ability to swim and shower with it without damaging the device. Its a great addition to track walking, workouts and heart rate. You can receive text messages and notifications as well.

I bought this for my daughter's 21st Birthday. She loved the color and functions. Battery last longer then what she had before. Its very comfortable for her to wear. Water resistant therfore she can do all her activities while wearing it. Definitely keeps her motivated to continue to exercise.

Bought this Charge 3 to replace my wife's old Fitbit watch as the step and sleep sensors had stopped working. She loves this unit thought it took her a bit to figure out how to operate it as it is different from the old unit. It holds a charge for a week and that is her favorite feature of the charge 3. Nice unit according to her.

I got the charge 3 because the band broke on my charge 2 and it is worth every penny. After the setup, you almost don’t need a phone or iPad. The charge 3 displays steps taken, heart rate, miles walked, calories burned, floors climbed, hours of sleep and pounds lost. And the special edition lets you make purchases with fitbit pay. You can also change bands easily if you don’t like the band that comes with your new charge. The heart rate is generally within 1 heart beat of the doctors office, so very accurate.

I am not sure I could ever go back not owning a Fitbit or a health tracker. This alone woke me up and made me refocus my health goals. Between the app and the watch I would be lost without them. The watch has lived up to the durability claims. Swimming in the lake, swimming in the pool, tons of high intensity workouts where it is soaked in sweat. This thing hasn't missed a beat. Battery has done everything I have expected it to do versus a full function smart watch. About 10-15% drain a day. Easily get 7-8 days on a charge. That is with a workout and/or GPS piggy back being used to boot. The smart functions it does have, not many, work great. The notification system does help not having to check your phone every time it buzzes or you get a call. Also having weather and calendar updates are a nice addition for someone who doesn't need all the abilities of a full on smart watch, aka texting full replies and customizable apps. I can not see not owning a Fitbit after owning the Charge 3. It has lived up to every penny I spent on it. Definitely recommend!

I love this watch. I downloaded the app to my phone and it tracks your steps per day, you can track how much water you drink a day, tracks your sleep and for us girls it even tracks your time of the month and fertile days. I use it every day. Battery lasts a long time. App is very easy to understand and use.

Bought this to replace a different SMART watch. The first thing I noticed is the battery life. My old watch struggled to have enough battery to survive the day, even when it was new, this watch has enough power to survive several days without being charged. It really does everything I need a watch to do and it was less expensive than my old watch

The charge 2 was discontinued. I came in for a replacement under warranty for a cracked screen. The charge 3 was the Fitbit replacement. It does have a richer look than the 2. But...I like to look at my steps and heart rate during the day and unfortunately, both steps and heart rate can not be placed on the front screen with the charge 3 if you also want time and date visible. You have to scroll down a couple of screens. The latest update wiped out half the icons and it took time to call tech support for a fix. AND bestbuy stopped selling extended warranties for the Fitbit brand...my guess but no evidence is that too many people needed replacements for problems covered under warranty. Does the charge 3 work As advertised? ... yes so I gave it an average score. I would wait to buy the charge 3 until the manufacturer fixes all the bugs in the update.

I love this Fitbit Charge 3. It actually encourages me to get up and move, lol. It keeps track of all my steps, stair climbing, and my sleep as well. Has lots of great features. I have had the connected to my Android Pixel 3xl and to my new iPhone 11 Pro Max and it works very well with both devices.

Other than 'yelling' at me when I haven't gotten my 250 steps and hour in (I have a desk job, cut me some slack haha) I absolutely LOVE my Fitbit!! I feel empowered and more in control of my personal health and fitness. The Rose Gold and blue gray color give it a slightly more feminine appearance in my opinion.

Having fun learning all the things this Fitbit can do! It counts by steps, keeps track of my heart rate, and alerts me for calls and messages on my phone. I use it to track my sleep as well as connecting to my family and friends for step comparisons. You can cheer them or taunt them.,.so far we’re having a great time with it!

The Fitbit3 provides me with lots of information about my active time and some interesting data about my sleep. It reminds me when I've been too inactive during the day. It also has several features that I don't use, but that would be attractive to some others. One of the best things is how long the battery lasts--at least a whole week.

So I was using my iPhone and it wasn’t counting my steps accurately so I was told to get one of these. It’s very nice. Stays charged for a week. Shoes my sleeping habits and heart rate even shows incoming texts and phone calls but my issue is that when you move the arms that the Fitbit is on it counts as steps. So some days I only do a lot of waking but it shows I did due to moving my arms around a lot while I’m driving or sitting. If they can fix this issue since I can’t find a way to change it then it would the perfect item.

Wow this has been a huge upgrade from the charge 2. Now the charge 3 is waterproof, so far it has been amazing. Working great still even after taking many showers, sweating during playing around and working out. The battery last the 7 days like it states. Nothing to complain about here, even the band has been upgraded quality/design.

    Miss My Charge 2

I enjoyed my Charge 2 and I thought the Fitbit Charge 3 would be an upgrade. However, the Charge 3 is much more complicated to use. The Charge 3 is now over a year old and the majority of owners still do not have access to the oxygen level data that was promised as the "big" new feature of the Charge 3. On the positive side, the Charge 3 is lighter, slimmer and more comfortable to wear. You can see an entire text message rather than three or four words at a time. Changing bands is quick and easy. And, you can wear the Charge 3 while swimming and in the shower. Recently, the price of the Charge 3 was reduced to $99. At that price, it is worth buying if your Charge 2 has a cracked screen or a weak battery.

I ordered this hoping it would help me track my fitness and hopefully get me moving a bit more. It has helped so much as far as not only keeping more active, but Im more conscious of how much sleep Im getting or not getting. My son also bought me a different cloth band. The vinyl sweats. Love my Fitbit!

    Definite upgrade, but not flawless

The Charge 3 is a definite upgrade over the previous Charge family with more features accessible on the device and the visual design itself. The previous bands felt flimsy and cheap, but this band and pebble feel more unified and sturdy. My battery life has also been better than expected/advertised easily surpassing the 7-day mark even with all day sync turned on. Cons: The weather feature is basically useless as it struggles to update from the phone and shows limited information; the notification center (meetings/texts) tend to hang onto old notifications and force you to clear them out (sometimes I think they reappear even after being cleared). The clockface options were a con early on as it wasn't possible to show the date and steps, but they've since added a couple of more options to fix this and provide more options. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting more than a fitness band, but not needing full features of a more expensive and bulky smart watch. This is my favorite fitbit to date.

I had the Charge 2 and it was not recording most of my activities and the new Charge 3 definitely has improved that. The extended battery life is great. I charged it 5 days ago and it is still at 50 percent charge. I have banged it a few times and not a scratch.
