I had to make a tough call with my charge 2 that was constantly losing battery life even less than a year. And while Best Buy no longer offers Geek squad protection plans for Fitbit products my charge 2 still retained its gsp and I was able to exchange it out for an upgrade to the Charge 3. I love it lots as I can look at my notifications, track my steps and pay with it. Almost all the capabilities that a Samsung watch, Apple Watch, and Fitbit versa have yet lightweight and stylish

I had an LTE Apple Watch 4 and decided that fitness and long battery life were priorities over "gadgets." Don't get me wrong, the Apple Watch is fantastic -- tons of useful apps, gorgeous display, nice fashion statement, and pretty reliable. However, for my needs (losing weight, connecting/coordinating with MyFitnessPal as I find it superior to Apple's Health app, sleep tracking without charging every day, and looooong battery life), this Fitbit checks every box.

This is an additional, second purchase of an additional Fitbit charge 3 bought first for wife. Pros; every lightweight easy to wear and excellent battery life between charges (around a week) Also unlike competitors this recharges fairly quickly. The distance measuring application (with cellular phone assist) I found to be 99.5% accurate compared to a precision GPS watch . The heart rate sensing and measurement is also very good and the web interface works quite well and is easy to assimilate. The device is easy to use with the single button once you get the hang of it , moving between screens, which are uncluttered and easy to read which is useful when you in a hurry. I have been using this for continuous swimming and is waterproof as described Cons ------ The swimming distance measurement is not as accurate as desired as others have reported. This is especially true if you mix strokes and swim in shorter pools/laps. It is probably much more accurate over a longer distance if you solely swim freestyle/crawl, the software is probably geared to recognizing this signal motion. The software needs to be optimized for breast stroke and backstroke as well. This a side the one weakness we found was the fragile glass mounting , the first unit was dropped several feet (only) causing a fracture in the corner (hence purchase of second unit) but it does still work two months later and interestingly the crack has not increased unlike many cell phones. Obviously this unit is now not used for swimming . I would ideally score this product 9/10 or 4 1/2 stars on features and battery life and for the price it i sway ahead of the competition.

I had never had a Fitbit watch before, As far as my feedback. It`s a good watch to have. It tracks sleep, workouts, steps heart rate, how floors you gone up. On the other hand, you`ll need to download the Fitbit app to input how many water you drink a day and also to enter your weight in. Shows how many calories you have burn a day. ( Also on the watch). There`s also a way to get your phone`s notifications to sent to your watch, such texts, emails, or any other notifications. This watch can also get music control. To make it work. You`ll need to add which music app your using as a notification, then open the app from your phone and play the music then pause so it can show on your watch. The battery on the watch is amazing. So for I have not charged it since I got it. It`s almost 6 days from now and I`m at 21% of battery life. As far as the waterproof. I have not tried it yet. So I can`t review it about it.

I love the fabric strap instead of the usual plastic one, it's a lot more comfortable to wear. Battery life is great, mine lasts over a week between charges. It sometimes miscounts my steps and will log stairs when I drive uphill, but they give you an easy way to erase stair logs that shouldn't be there. Syncing it to my phone was easy. It seems to track my sleep pretty accurately. Overall a good purchase for the price compared to other fitness trackers out there.

Overall good product. Upset display does not give option for dropping zero (0) in the hours of some of their time displays. Battery lasts much longer with location services not always on although this does limit tracking of active minutes. Scrolling up through display is nice to see the whole dash board. Wish it was easier to get a timer function

I've been a life-long wearable fanatic and have worn and used products from Apple, Polar, Android (WearOS) and Fitbit. Given i just switched from an iPhone to Android, my previous Apple Watch was not compatible so I jumped back in the Fitbit pool and bought the Charge 3. I think it's a great size, and integrates nicely with Android and iOS while maintaining great Health & Wellness tracking along with being waterproof! Some slight improvements for Fitbit: Color Screen, more customizable watch faces, and ability to respond to notifications from the wrist would be awesome!

I can see the Pebble influence in this tracker. The full message feature is wonderful. The change in the way the watch bands attach and detatch makes for a much easier changing experience, and the look of the watch is greatly improved. Only thing I would like to see is the brightness of the messages be a little brighter as they can be hard to read in sunlight or with sunglasses on.

We bought this for my daughter (11 yo) as an upgrade to her FitBit Ace. She really likes the fact that it's waterproof & has the swipe options to access all the features for "everything she needs and more." Stylish, easy to change bands (get the off brands for a lot cheaper than the Fitbit brand & easy to charge. Charges last about 5-6 days.

I got the charge 3 because the band broke on my charge 2 and it is worth every penny. After the setup, you almost don’t need a phone or iPad. The charge 3 displays steps taken, heart rate, miles walked, calories burned, floors climbed, hours of sleep and pounds lost. And the special edition lets you make purchases with fitbit pay. You can also change bands easily if you don’t like the band that comes with your new charge. The heart rate is generally within 1 heart beat of the doctors office, so very accurate.

This is my 3rd fit bit. I have one for myself but this was purchased as a gift because I love the longevity and ability to swim and shower with it without damaging the device. Its a great addition to track walking, workouts and heart rate. You can receive text messages and notifications as well.

There are not many cons to this one. I switched from a Samsung Galaxy Watch which was great but I wanted better fitness tracking and better battery life. Both are solved with this device. I get about 4-5 days battery, it is also solely geared toward fitness so I don't have to fiddle with things so much to track a workout. I also like that Fitbit is integrated with Fitbit Coach so it tracks those calories much better as well. It looks great with the white strap and has all the basic smart features I need such as messages, notifications and weather. Anything else I feel is just overkill. On the downside, I don't much care for Fitbit pay, it only supports a small handful of banks so it is useless to me. Also the screen is hard to see in direct sunlight. I did have an issue where the heart rate tracker stopped working, Fitbit support sent me a new one and all is well now.

I have had a Charge 2 for a few years and decided to switch up to the Charge 3. The Charge 3 is more sleek and light weight than the Charge 2. The face is bigger however there are more notifications and stats listed on the face so the print is much smaller than on the Charge 2. It is listed as being brighter (you can adjust the brightness) than the Charge 2 but it definitely is not, in my opinion. Reading the face in sunlight is no better, if not worse, than the Charge 2. This tracker is waterproof and can detect swimming as an exercise. I do water aerobics daily and the tracker does not pick up that I am in the water. It will count my movement as steps. I've had more connectivity issues with the Charge 3 in the short time I have owned it than I did in the 2 years I had the Charge 2. It has had difficulty syncing on more than one occasion and I have had to contact customer support more than once. I'm hoping this will not be an ongoing issue! All in all I really like this tracker as long as it works properly. There are pros and cons for both the Charge 2 and Charge 3.

This Fitbit is incredible!!! I've had it for over a month now. I've taken it to go do laps at the pool and it auto-sync my swim routine to my phone. It's just awesome. The band is super comfortable and durable. I never liked the silicone bands. It came with one but after I put the purple band on, I barely realize it's on. You can wear it in the shower, don't even need to take it off for really any reason except to charge it and that's awesome. It seems pretty accurate in step counting too. And when I see my BPMs I try to calm down when I see it raising lol. And I haven't really been keeping track but I don't have to charge it often. Maybe once a week... I think it's gone longer without needing charged. Overall, I'd definitely recommend. Unfortunately my bank account isn't a supported user for the Fitbit pay option. I was kinda disappointed in that but I don't see many places that supports the pay type anyway so not a big deal. But I really love this Fitbit! Hopefully I won't have to upgrade for quite a while.

So I was using my iPhone and it wasn’t counting my steps accurately so I was told to get one of these. It’s very nice. Stays charged for a week. Shoes my sleeping habits and heart rate even shows incoming texts and phone calls but my issue is that when you move the arms that the Fitbit is on it counts as steps. So some days I only do a lot of waking but it shows I did due to moving my arms around a lot while I’m driving or sitting. If they can fix this issue since I can’t find a way to change it then it would the perfect item.

I have worked my way up from the original Fitbit. This tracks several features that the Alta HR does not and worth the money for the upgrade and being waterproof. Battery also has more useable days between charges. Lavender band softens the look when you need it

I’ve had this for several months now and I can say it works pretty well. Tracks my sleep, tracks my heart rate and tracks my steps. Much better alternative to always having my cell phone on me at all times. Would recommend.

Great little tracker. Battery life is awesome I charge once weekly. It works very nicely with the app. I use it to track sleep and steps the most. Does a lot more just. Uses GPS on cell so phone needs to be near.
