I purchased this charge after my charge 2 died. I notice that these last about a year and then they decide to die. But I bought this the 2nd day it was out in stores, I liked that you no longer have to buy "Small" or "Large" because both bands come included. A much better battery life, sleeker design but overall same as model before but definitely should of waited for black Friday since prices dropped by $30.

I've been a life-long wearable fanatic and have worn and used products from Apple, Polar, Android (WearOS) and Fitbit. Given i just switched from an iPhone to Android, my previous Apple Watch was not compatible so I jumped back in the Fitbit pool and bought the Charge 3. I think it's a great size, and integrates nicely with Android and iOS while maintaining great Health & Wellness tracking along with being waterproof! Some slight improvements for Fitbit: Color Screen, more customizable watch faces, and ability to respond to notifications from the wrist would be awesome!

I needed a Fitbit that was water proof and now I have it. I was unsure if I was going to purchase this as some of the reviews were not so good. However I have been quite happy with my purchase. It’s only been a few weeks but it has really been a great help especially with how I sleep. The altimeter could use some work, but I don’t care too much about how many flights of stairs it thinks I have done. So overall I am very happy with my upgrade from the Flex II

I went to my Dr. for a physical and she told me my A 1c was 6.3 close to a diabetic so I decided to change my life a bit. I bought a fitbit charge 3 and my life begin to change. I started walking for exercise using my fitbit. I'm up to 10000 steps a day and my sleep pattern has changed and everything is going great. I wanted the versa watch but couldn't afford but the fitbit charge 3 is doing great and I use it everyday. Wouldn't be without it.

I can see the Pebble influence in this tracker. The full message feature is wonderful. The change in the way the watch bands attach and detatch makes for a much easier changing experience, and the look of the watch is greatly improved. Only thing I would like to see is the brightness of the messages be a little brighter as they can be hard to read in sunlight or with sunglasses on.

Overall I have been satisfied with the Fitbit Charge 3 and in-app features. Over a year into owning the device, they've changed the algorithm for step counting which leads to some trust issues with how they are measuring actual effort. At least there is a baseline consistency for tracking steps regardless of the software change. The device is easy to use, has great battery life, and is very handy for reading text messages via Bluetooth, viewing heart rate, and keeping an eye on the time. My favorite feature are the group challenges where friends all using similar Fitbit devices compete for the most steps during a given period. The 2 cons thus far is that there are 2 rows of dead pixels and both the small and large bands have both broken in about 16 months. I grew up wearing watches and haven't had this many break this frequently. I will consider whatever the next generation Fitbit fitness tracker is in the hopes they've improved the quality of the product, but mainly because I like the software.

I wanted something that was waterproof and could last a few days between charges. I also needed something that would work with my workouts. So far it is working for me. I can go around 6 days between charges. I do like that you can tell it you are working out and select the different kinds of workouts. I new watch faces are nice. Text is a nice bonus to get rid of messages and quick reply.

So my work started providing incentives for tracking walking/exercises so I decided to hop on the Fitbit bandwagon and I'm actually pretty happy that I did! It's pretty accurate with steps, but goes a little bit off the rails trying to calculate flights of stairs or any other activity. Thankfully with the heart rate feature its pretty easy to organize activities based on spikes.

I leave this watch on every day for about five days at a time and the battery lasts the whole time . I use it to track my workouts and determine how many steps and calories I am in throughout the day. One of the features that I didn’t expect to enjoy as much as I do is the sleep study we are now I am trying to make sure that I optimizing wanna sleep every day thanks to their suggestions.

Last year I bought the fitbit 2 for myself and this i bought the fitbit charge 3 for my aunt. I loved how it tracked my steps heat beat and also received notifcations for it. I have an apple watch as well, but definitely love this watch way more. Its a must have for people that want to track their health, stay connected but not too much, and to just have a watch. The battery life is amazing and changing the bands are just a tip of it.

This is probably the best fitness tracker out there. Prior to owning one, I never liked to wear a watch, but the Charge 3 has been comfortable enough for me to wear pretty much 24/7. I like the apps to tracks steps, heart rate, and sleep. As a bonus, it does notify me when someone calls and any other notification I choose (ie. text, calendar, amazon, etc.) Short of an actual smartwatch, I think this is great value.

This is a great fitness tracker and watch to wear 24x7 because of the amazing 7 day battery life. The sleep tracking and accurate heart rate tracking are plus points. The only negatives are the large form factor and quite thick if you like wearing an analog watch on your non dominant wrist. Check out the Garmin Vivosmart 4 that's a smaller form factor and has all the benefits too

This Fitbit is my first of any fitness tracker, I got it to keep an eye on my blood pressure, but it has blown me away with all it’s easy to use features! I never miss a text or call, regardless of where my phone is, & the sleep tracker is eye opening & a great tool! It tracks my steps, & every other physical activity, shows calories burned & has reminders you can set based on your needs. I’m in love & will wear one until the end!

I'm a big fan of Fitbit, and bought this Charge 3 after my Charge 2 died. I like the Charge 3, but it's basically a waterproof Charge 2. So, I can swim with it but otherwise it's the same, except, the are fewer clock faces to choose from with the 3. Oh, and I noticed that the Charge 3 gives me twice the credit for stairs than the Charge 2 did... I'm still trying to find out why.

Upgraded from the Fitbit Alta. If you like a more basic fitness tracker that has some nice additions this is it. I like that it has stair counting and heart rate monitor. Also the basic notifications for calls and texts are great if you don’t need a full fledged smart watch. Battery life so far seems great, lost about 10% in a day so far.

Exactly as advertised. All-day activity tracking..steps, distance, floors climbed, active minutes, and calories burned. Set goals in the easy-to-use app. Charge3’s reminder helps you reach that goal and celebrates when you reach them. The large touch-screen display adjusts to lighting conditions and is easy to read. Tracks swimming. Long battery usage between charges. Syncs easily to Apple products.

I like it that I can see who's calling or texting without even looking at my phone. Because of the step count tracking, it motivates you to complete the goal! Easy to set up also. Would have given it 5 stars except for the fact that after 2 years, the display is not visible anymore and the fitbit needs to be replaced.

I was being cheap but decided to splurge and get the Charge 3. My office location changed and I now travel 3 flights of stairs to get to my desk and having the Charge 3 keeps me motivated and inspires me to move more. Great job, Fit Bit!! Battery life is superb!! Feels great and looks great. I prefer this over the Apple Watch because I am still able to wear my designer watch on my left wrist.

Since purchasing my fit bit charge 3, it's given me a way to review my sleep, workouts, calorie input and manage my work out intervals. It integrated with MyFitnessPal and my Nordic Max m5 and I've been really happy with the battery life. The firmware update is really slow but I would only update that if you end up needing it.
