Had to try five times to set up and go ally went to Geek Squad to do it. After several tries it finally worked. Set up was achieved by resetting passwords and trying to connect several different ways.

While it has the features I need, because I wear a watch on the inside of my wrist, it never felt as comfortable as my Charge 2. The aftermarket accessories didn't help much

I love my Fitbit when it works. At least once a week of won’t give me notifications, which is why I want it. Also, I think the heart rate can be very off at times.

This fitbit is slim and stylish, but although the specs indicated it held a charge for a week, it didn't last more than 24 hours. It's also really difficult to navigate through the different screens.

I purchased this as an upgrade to my Polar Heart rate monitor that requires a chest strap. The Polar is highly accurate when confirmed by manually taking pulse at different times during exercise when heart rate is more rapid. Two examples: 1. a few minutes into morning run just warming up Polar = 98 BPM Fitbit = 102. Attempting to keep same pace for 15 seconds Polar again = 98 BPM Fitbit 112. 2. After set of 5 heavy deadlifts Polar = 142 BPM Fitbit 77.

I mean....it's a Fitbit. It is what it is. Works fine for now, but I'll probably be upgrading within the next year or 2 to whatever the newest version is by then.

The Charge 2 was so simple to see what my steps were and everything else too. When the battery needed to be charged I knew it. On the Charge 4 the screen is hard to read. I can't tell when the battery is in need of charging. Trying to see what my heart rate is and steps are is too hard. I definitely don't recommend this Fitbit. I went from a Charge 2 to a Charge 4 so I don't know what the Charge 3 is like.

Unfortunately, I don't like this tracker as much as my Charge 3. It doesn't get my heart rate right (I've compared with other heart rate trackers.) None of the stats I'm interested in tracking are accurate with the Charge 4. I've researched my issues, and I've discovered that a lot of people have the same problems. Knowing this, I'm considering returning it. But will the Charge 5 resolve these problems? Do I need to completely move away from the Fitbit brand?

After many months of deliberation, I have come to the conclusion that the Charge 4 is sub-par compared to past Fitbit trackers. Constant connectivity issues. Space between the band and tracker gather dirt. And the notifications are regularly disfunctional. The one thing better than the Charge 3 is GPS tracking, which isn’t all that helpful anyway. When it works, it’s fine, but most of the time something is off. I would recommend not upgrading if you still have a Charge 3.
