Broke my screen on my Apple Watch, so out of spite and anger, I purchased this device. Knowing it was inferior to Apple Watch, I had very low expectations. This was actually worse than expected. This is a very overpriced basic pedometer. Absolutely featureless.

    Great hardware, terrible software

Hardware is great and sturdy, software not so much. It restarts itself in the middle of workouts or running and loses track of whatever you were doing. It freezes randomly, usually right when you need to access something like a notification or start an exercise. Randomly stops recording exercises. Save your money and skip this fitness band

. . . I was lifting a piece of wood and because of my enormous strength (kidding) the watchband caused the entire frame of the FitBit to fail. FitBit sent me a replacement and told me the frames have been a failure point. Unfortunately, so is the display screen - it scratches easily.

I should have known better. Fitbit has been putting out trackers for about 10 years. When Best Buy isn't allowed to sell you a warranty on an item like this - because Fitbit won't comp them for defective units, it's a clear sign the company knows their quality isn't up to snuff. For tracking steps, it's just fine. But if you'd wanted HRV data, you have to pay extra for that. Every month. And then you learn that the data is sporadic. Some nights it won't give a reading, and it won't track your HRV at all during the day. They are famous for having batteries that don't hold a charge, so be sure you're very informed about this before you buy. Unfortunately, I suspect Garmin is probably the same, as are every other tracker. I should've gone with Whoop, but they were even more expensive!

I thought would it would receive much more improvements BUT it didn't as i was expecting to see more exercises and indoor exercises like my indoor bicycle. Plus, I do jump rope all the time, the settings are not geared for that. The only thing i like about this Charge 4 is the special edition band

I purchased this specifically for the sleep functionality and measurement of oxygen. About 50% of the time it does not give me a reading at all. When it does give a recording it only shows 2-3 hours throughout an 8 hour night. I was on the phone with Fitbit numerous times but they were unable to help me. When I tried to return the product I was told it was outside the return policy. Now I'm stuck with a product I cannot use for what it was intended. I am not a very happy camper.

Ok, but does not surpass my Apple Watch. Wish I had saved up and spent the extra money. In addition, when purchased, the Geek Squad was not familiar on how to set up and mixed my wife’s with mine. Now I gave to make an appointment to try to get things resolved.

I would love it, if it worked. Wouldn't charge so I worked with Fitbit help and after several days of trouble shooting it all the sudden took a charge. Now, it won't charge again and I'm passed the return/exchange date. 160 dollars just wasted.

This item was supposed to come with 2 watch bands and it only came with one. Last time I bought my fitbit through fitbit snd when I called them they said I should have received two. It’s very difficult to get through to you so I’m just living with what I got.
