I haven't used it too much yet. It looks the same as the Charge 3 except with my features.

I bought for my husband for Father’s Day. He loves the GPS on the Fitbit Charge 4. He’s had other Fitbits but this one is superior.

Always have used a Fitbit and love them better than an Apple Watch. Such an easy to use device and really tracks everything!

Here are the main problems with this Fitbit 1. It is impossible to see on a sunny day. You can cover it with a hand, or put it under your shirt, too dim (even on brightest setting) to see. What is the point of exercising with this outside if you can't see it? 2. Occasionally the step count just locks up, doesn't increase anymore. Only resolution I have found is to reboot it. 3. I gave up using the internal GPS on this so I set it to use the GPS on my Iphone 12 Pro Max. It takes multiple minutes to connect to my phone sometimes. Meanwhile, running the fitness app on my phone it tracks me and seemingly never loses GPS. 4. The charging cable that comes with this is ridiculously short. A normal height wall outlet will leave the fitbit dangling from the air while charging.

I have a 3 mile road course mapped out that I can safely walk. My time says I average 4.7mph walking (torn meniscus in both knees, can't run). The Fitbit registers my 4.7mph walk as a mix of running and elliptical. Today, I did 5 miles on the treadmill on a 2% hill. It registered it as a mix of running & elliptical, but it only registered 3.65 miles. I've never paid attention to the distance, but I will for now on.

This is my third FitBit Charge and is a fine upgrade from the Charge 2. Slightly larger face but still a low profile compared to Ionic or Apple Watch, which for me are way too big. Time is very easy to read. More information readily available on watch itself without having to look on app. Faster charging. Able to read full texts and they don’t immediately disappear. Calendar alerts are useful. A feature I love and use a lot is FitBit Pay. Easy to use as contactless pay, not quite as cumbersome as Apple Pay.

The item should come with a way to charge other than USB. At times it is difficult to get the Fitbit to start charging. Other than that I like the new Fitbit Charge 4 better than the last one I had. I wish fitbit didn't change their charger with every change for every model.
