Tracks and saves stats on the watch and app. Vibrates an alert when I get a cell call or message. Shows text messages which is very convenient since I don’t always have my cell nearby when I’m home. I recommend seniors might want a larger format watch because some functions are hard to read. Although you can adjust font size and darkness which helps.

My Garmin tends to wait until I take about 30-40 steps to update. I also like the Fitbit for its calorie count; it's always good to know if I'm working more than eating each day! Also, I the goals-reached shout-outs that pop up are great. My only complaint is the small face. I'm old and have lousy eyesight, so sometimes it is hard to read the face. A great, fun product!
