Customers regard the Charge 5 Advanced Fitness & Health Tracker very favorably, particularly praising its excellent battery life, ease of use, and bright display. Many appreciate the sleep tracking and accurate fitness metrics, including step and heart rate monitoring. The device's compact size and attractive design are also frequently cited as positive aspects. However, some users have expressed dissatisfaction with the band's comfort and occasional syncing issues.

Best Fitbit to date. Each category works better than Charge 4. Love the color screen! Heartbeat on demand on the face with other categories summed up is a nice feature. The timer/alarm is easier. Adding the new heart and neurological tests (ECG and EDA), just makes me excited about things to come. Fitbit, due to its small size, has always been the best choice, I gave up watches years ago because, of my "cell phone", knowing the time was never a problem. Fitbit brought in new dimensions that I find very helpful to my personal well-being.
However, I almost lost it twice. The clasp that holds it to the band is weak and not a positive "click", even when it looks attached it may not be. I would hate to lose this great watch, but I fear it is inevitable.
Oh, the best for last, the sleep ratings and physiological information like resting heartbeat, breath rate, oxygen levels and the others are terrific for my peace of mind.

The Fitbit Charge 5 is a modest improvement over the old Fitbit Charge 4 model. The color screen is nice and the activity tracking suits my needs. The new silicone band is more comfortable but I've noticed that the silicone band will sometimes detach from the watch body with a minor bump. I'm not sure if this is a design flaw or just an issue with my unit.

I like this fit bit because its smaller than the versa 2. Bit I don't like how you have to swipe and it doesn't always swipe well, and I would like it if I could set up a timer and keep it set .Also the battery doesn't seem to last as long

I used to have an Apple Watch but wanted to get something that wasn't as bulky that I could wear to keep track of my lifestyle in an effort to be more active. This fits the bill since I am much more comfortable wearing this every day than I was my Apple Watch. While this does have the option to have alerts from your phone such as calls and texts, I turned all that off so that it is just for activity tracking. I enjoy it and it is quite accurate. The battery life is phenomenal - I charge it once a week and there's still plenty of life left!

Serious Connectivity Issues

When setting up a new Fitbit, it always has to download and install the latest updates (latest iOS). I knew there was something wrong when it couldn't even connect with the tracker for more than 10 sec. at a time. It would make it to 5%, lose connection and start all over again. After an hour of resets, toggles, etc. it mysteriously set itself up.
When I look to change watch faces, there is a constant 'Unable to Connect to you Device' alert that pops on and off as you browse.
My dashboard constantly has the 'Cannot sync' banner up top. After 3 or 4 manual pulls, it finally syncs.
The device seems solid but if it can't share data to my phone, it seems like a waste. I'm surprised there isn't much talk about it in the reviews –– there are plenty of threads on the Fitbit community pages that date way back (seems like Fitbit isn't motivated enough to fix it by now). I'll probably return it and try a Luxe and see if that's any better.

Does it's job well. I liked the screen and functionality of my Sense more, but as a more cost effective option, this Charge model is a great alternative. I have had none of the synchronization and connectivity issues that I've experienced with other models.

This is great step counter but it’s my 4 Fitbit due to they only last just as long for the warranty to expire, I wish they were made of better quality.
