Loved it while it worked. Stopped working after 2 years — can’t keep a charge longer than 2 minutes. Also, you need to replace the band it comes with because it can’t breathe and causes rashes — a known problem in online forums.

It has worked very well. Um, uh I it tracks my runs very accurately. The only downside that I can say is that when it’s used in a pool, the screen becomes hard to tap and so it becomes difficult to use when wet.

Works flawlessly and easy setup. Very comfortable to wear and comparable options to much more expensive items. My father uses it to monitor his AFIB and helps give him peace of mind

Excellent product for tracking most activities. Easy to read even in bright sunlight. However, if you want to track stairs, do NOT purchase this item. FITBIT removed the altimeter after many iterations of this product with no major mention of the deletion of this base functionality. If counting stairs is important to you, seek another alternative.

My second Charge 5 but my first 5A. the Advanced has better battery life. My previous Charge 5 locked up with the Diamond Dot logo not going away. Tossed the old one in a drawer, bought the 5A. Meanwhile after the experience of being shut up in a dark drawer for a few weeks, i charged the old 5 and it came back to normalcy. FYI.

I've replaced an old Fitbit Charge 2 with this, was worried I would lose my old data; turns out, that has been seamlessly preserved. This model is comfortable, and its charge lasts for several days. Additionally, this Charge 5 has a few more metrics it captures, all which are helping me monitor and improve my health. Well worth the investment.

The vibrant colors makes this easier to read than the previous version. Battery life is great at about 6 days before needing a charge. The only drawback is you have to tap the screen a few times for it to be responsive when idle.

I bought 3 of these this as a gift for my adult children. They loved them, except one of the three quit charging correctly after 6 months of regular use. Also, the company changed hands about 4 months after the purchase from Fitbit to Google. We loved the Fit Bit games and challenges but Google, you didn’t have to cut us off-make out like it never happened and that we-were-nothing . We didn’t even-need your watch, you-treated us like strangers and-that-felt -so-rough. Google didn't have-to-stoop-so-low-have-your-friends-collect-your challenge records-and-then change-your number…just some company that we use to know….
