I'm writing this review after owning the product 1.5 years. The Charge 5 is now malfunctioning (it is stuck in a restarting cycle - displaying the Fitbit logo, then restarting again). Prior to it malfunctioning, the device worked great. The UI was very easy to use and the built-in features were great. However, the device durability could be better. The issue I experienced is apparently common after 1.5-2 years.

Excellent item. I'm enjoying large print for the time. Long charge is a plus.

One of the best Fitbit products that I have used. The design is great and I like all of the options I can use to track my health stats.

I bought this for my husband, he loves it. It is light weight & stays on.

It is easy to read and packed full of information that is helpful to me.

My husband does lots of walking around the job so this would keep track of how many steps he takes

Nice improvement from the previous version . The colors are nice. The battery last longer. The band is stronger.

Great for tracking heart rate etc throughout the day and specifically for workouts. Also nice it allows you to track sleep quality.

Was good for simple activity tracking until it bricked less than a year after using during the latest firmware update. Replaced with the Charge 6, so far so good.

Bought it as a gift for a very fit minded person and they couldn't be any happier with it. Not a single complaint.

I purchased this item for my wife as a replacement for the Charge 4. It operates a little differently than its predecessor: it has a nice colorful display and includes new features like the EEG capability. It also came with a 6-month trial of the Fitbit premium which my wife is assessing and taking advantage of. Overall, she really likes it.

Covers the basics, no altimeter. It's a good mix of fitness band and smart watch without being too large and not having too many features/gimmicks. I have fairly small wrist and it fit comfortable. I loved the screen and the features. Unfortunately I returned it 2 weeks after purchasing since the battery was garbage and terribly inconsistent. Some days it would last for 3 days, some days would die half way through, each time starting from a full charge. My settings were no AOD, no GPS, auto-wake screens, and would barely get notifications while working 8-5. I never got the claimed 5-days
