The Charge 5 has all of the good features from the previous version and this time around Fitbit actually made it out of metal. The previous one was made of plastic! Mine worked great until one of the plastic strap connectors broke. $130! I wasn’t even using it for sports. I know Fitbit is making a big deal about the color display, but they should have had color displays some time ago. So anyway, this is my fifth Fitbit and I think the Charge 5 is possibly Fitbit’s best product ever. I don’t care about a color display but I do care about metal instead of plastic, For $130, I want metal. And this version has a lot of little tricks tucked inside. I would buy it again.

This was actually my 3rd fitbit. Had to return once because screen went black and wouldn’t turn on again even after recharging and returned another one for battery draining after only 2 days even with rebooting. This 3rd one so far has no issues and I’m liking it. Like the design and size. Loving the sleep tracking especially. Only thing that still bothers me is the subscription pay for some premium features. But the ones that is included on basic feature is good enough for me for me. Best quality and value for this price range.

I have had this Fitbit since October 2021 and it still works perfectly. I like it because of its slim design. It gives me everything I need in a fitness device. It accurately tracks my fitness and I love the GPS.

I bought this to replace an ageing Garmin. Screen is excellent, touch screen responsive, and the silicon band is comfortable. Battery life is great - I charge it once a week. Does everything I need - activity tracking, sleep tracking, steps, heart rate, and displays alerts from my iPhone etc. Only downsides I’ve found are (1) just like the Garmin, this uses a proprietary charging cable, so it’s something else to carry around to charge it when travelling and (2) there’s a lot of “this functionality will be available soon” in the app and webpage. All in all, I’m happy with this purchase.

Product works pretty well, recording steps, sleep, exercise. Syncing with phone is a little unreliable. It's annoying when the app says "syncing is taking a while: sit tight," with no help to fix the problem. Keeps trying to sell a premium subscription but never really tells me what additional functionality premuim gives. I understood this product to be waterproof. My previous Charge 5 stopped working after I got it wet while potting plants. This is my second one.

Love everything the display it helps me keep track of activity so comfortable I can sleep in it lets me know how long I slept. Heart rate displayed. It stays charged for about a week or more.

This would be my 5th Fitbit product and I continue to recommend it. I've been using different Fitbit products since 2016 and quality of these devices have been consistent. It's been as reliable as a non-medical fitness device can get and I'm satisfied with the relatively accurate but consistent data I'm able to generate from this device. I'm involved in combat sport so they also hold up against the rigorous training. You don't need to baby this device. If you're just looking for an easy to use fitness tracker and don't need to data to be super accurate, the Charge series is great. If your priority is style or data accuracy, got for some other devices that are on the market. One side note, if you have sensitive skin like me, I would strong recommend getting the sports band that has a breathable material. It's less irritating for your skin. The stock band you get in the initial purchase is not breathable and your skin can get irritated more regularly.

Great battery life. It is a great quality product for the price. The only thing I would change about the charge 5 is the lack of a weather app. Otherwise is a rather positive experience. Recommended if you want a lightweight tracker.

Nice, slim and unecumbering. Decent battery life. Excellent battery life compared to iWatch. Seems to count steps accurately. The lack of buttons is both confusing and simplistic. Just takes a bit to get use to.

Battery life is better than my old Fitbit and screen easier to read. Would have liked more instructions included in the packaging.

It is for sure the best product and value for money. It works perfectly fine and it’s sleek design doesn’t makes you feel uncomfortable at all. Very light weight product rhat makes it more easy to catry all the time

After returning the the Versa 4 because it failed miserably… I purchased the Charge 5. It has been working flawlessly. There has been no battery draining issue. GPS has worked without any issues. Huge improvements from my Charge 2. I recommend the Charge 5.

Works flawlessly and easy setup. Very comfortable to wear and comparable options to much more expensive items. My father uses it to monitor his AFIB and helps give him peace of mind

I am coming from a charge 4 and I’m so happy with my upgrade! The band is very comfortable, the OS is smooth, it’s in color, and it has more advanced tracking. I would recommend upgrading from an old fitness tracker. It’s worth it!

I have always been a Garmin person, but after getting this Fitbit Charge 5, I regret not looking into Fitbit earlier. I just like to keep track of steps, heart rate, get notifications, and sleep habits, and the Charge 5 fit my needs.

Great fitness tracker. I bought this to replace an older Fitbit which had fewer bells and whistles. The Charge 5 detects your heart rate and can also do an EKG and EDG scans. You also have the ability to link a credit card to the watch for payments, plus you can read text messages If your watch is linked to your phone. It can also track sleep data. Getting a daily readiness score requires a premium membership— a 6 month one came with my Fitbit. Not a huge fan of the band— it irritates my wrist

I love my new Fitbit. I use it to track my sleep as well as my steps and have found that it has provided me a gateway to more activity and motivated me to change my routine to help get a better night’s sleep.

Very easy to use compared to earlier generations of fitbit. Lightweight, great battery life, and packed with useful information. Not sure yet whether the premium stuff is actually worth it. I absolutely love it!!!

My first Charge 5 worked flawlessly until the screen suddenly went black and could not be revived. Fitbit’s solution was to offer me a 35% discount on another Charge 5 on their website. However, their supply of Charge 5’s were out of stock for months due many other people having the black screen issue (rumored to have been caused by the latest software update) and demand was high due to people replacing their bricked devices. I found my 2nd Charge 5 on Best Buy (in stock) and I had it delivered within 3 days. So far, my new Charge 5 is working perfectly. The battery lasts almost a week and it does everything as expected without issue.
