    Charge works very well

I see negatives reviews and most sounds like iPhone users as you should know it's not Fitbit it's Apple locked down system where syncing doesn't work as smoothly like with Android device. No issues at alll everything feature works well with my Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3. If yoi own iPhone go buy a expensive Apple watch with limited features. Otherwise I recommend Fitbit Charge 5 excellent small device that's qorks very well. Remember NO DEVICE IS 100 PERCENT ACCURATE the results are estimates to real medical devices.

Love my Charge 5, not thrilled w/ Lunar white band

I love my new Fitbit charge 5!!! Much easier to use, read and love the new health tracking features. I was a little disappointed as I expected the band color , Lunar white to be WHITE, its actually more of a grayish white. The band also has caused a bit of a rash.I have ordered new bands and expect that I will enjoy my purchase for a long time

    Like but don't Love

Love the fitbit but the app is hinky. Can't log into about 30% of the time. The Fitbit also doesn't register when I work on a rebounder half the time. Love that it tracks my sleep patterns.

    I did love it…

I wanted a fitness tracker, not my phone on my wrist, and this is exactly that, with the bonus of being able to get phone notifications, if you choose. For 18 months this tracker was always on my wrist. The long battery life meant I could go 7-8 days between charging. I didn’t have any issues at all. Until this week. All of a sudden, the tracker won’t hold a charge past an hour and shuts off. I’ve spoken with Fitbit support, done all the resets, and there is nothing to do but mourn the loss. 3 stars because it was everything I wanted it to be, -2 for only lasting 18 months…

So I've used my Fitbit "heavily" since I purchased it and have yet to see any of the hiccups that other users are having. I do not have an always-on display because I don't use it or need it. A wake-up display on a wrist raise is enough for me. It records my workouts properly and accurately so I have had no complaints. Battery life is good too. I've been on day 5 without a charge needed.

I like that you can read the face in the Arizona sun. Battery life for me is 10 days. Just charge it an extra hour after it reaches 100%. That seems to help. Face looks susceptible to scratching. We will see.

    My New Fitbit Charge 5

I own the Fitbit Charge 2 and my new Charge 5 is an excellent up grade. It has more features and is easier to see in the sunlight. My Bastrop Best Buy had it all ready to pick up within an hour so it was a fine purchasing experience. Many thanks!

Love it - great improvements over Fitbit Charge 4!

I love my Fitbit Charge 5. Such an upgrade from the Charge 4. No more awkward side button to push. I don't miss the Weather feature, nor the Agenda app. Never used either one. I always buy my own bands because I like to be able to change them to match what I'm wearing and I can't stand the rubber-ish band that comes with Fitbit. My one other request is to have more choices in clock-ish clock faces. I want one that has an option to view as digital for the middle of the night when I cannot discern the nicer looking clockface.

I'm loving my first Fitbit! It's easy to use, the app is great and I'm able to measure my workouts without carrying my rather large smartphone around with me. Great functionality and ability to customize to my personal workouts/sleep habits...

    Fitbit 5

Just a couple of things, I don’t care for. There only 4 clock faces to choose from, not a big fan of any of them, but they do the job. If your working out with it on, make sure you completely dry it off after your workouts. The little gasket underneath will eventually fall out and you will be buying a new one like me. Other than that its completely fine.

Voice cues and fitbit logo display

I would give it a 3 but frankly, its a terrible product. As a runner, i want voice cues to work seamlessly, so i dont have to look at my watch to monitor my pace. Thats where gps is usefulI. using the fitbit "smartphone app" i get the voice cues (but i have to start and pause app on phone manually and the watch does nit synch with app to get voice cues. I will be putting a hammer to it as i constantly have to setup device to get rid of blue screen of death, then it starts tracking sleep again. Dont buy!

    Battery Drain issues

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Reviewing after having this the Charge 5 for over a year. I'm a previous owner of the original Fitbit Charge and Charge 2. The Charge 2 lasted me years without any issues. When Charge 5 came out with all these features, felt it was time to upgrade. Initially, Charge 5 was awesome. No complaints and very happy with the battery life lasting 5-7 days, depending on the activity use. Just recently after the 1 year mark, I started having battery draining issues. The battery would literally drain within 2-3 hours. I ended up contacting Fitbit support via chat and we did all the troubleshooting for them to determine I had a bad battery. They said they'll send out an email within a day. That same evening, I received an email stating since I'm out of warranty, they'll only offer a minimal discount to buy another Fitbit product. I ended up googling Fitbit Charge 5 battery drain and came across a large number of posts about this being a known issue without any resolution. Sometimes it occurred within a short period time after purchase, while others had it happened outside warranty. I can't justify spending more money to get another defective product. I would encourage others to look at another fitness tracker.

Love this such an upgrade from the old charge devices and can’t wait for ecg. Good on FitBit for bringing more features and a higher quality build to a mid range device.

My first time owning a fitness tracker and I am very happy with the Charge 5. My main exercise is cycling so I ride with the Charge. I wear it 24/7. I get motivated when trying to reach 10k steps. Also love to check my pulse rate and sleep quality. Love the fitbit app as well. Overall very satisfied with purchase. I work in healthcare and I wish older folks can take advantage of this technology and better themselves. I see too many sick people out there.
