The tech? Great. Continuing membership fees of $80 a year? Stupid. Pass.

Happy to receive my FitBit Charge 5 for Christmas 2022, but the band kept unsnapping at the watch connection. Eventually it unsnappes and was lost. Not sure I'd buy another one or go back to Gamin.

This watch does not count floors (altometer). Yes, maybe I should have read the box for features but one normally expects to have all the previous features when you buy the newer model.

I went against my better judgement buying another Fitbit device. They have a huge quality control issue for many years that remains unresolved. My brand new Fitbit Charge 5 suddenly stopped working after only 2 days. It wasn't dropped, it didn't get wet... it was just a piece of garbage that died. To add insult to the whole thing, Fitbit takes 2 days to respond with a prepaid return label, paying for the absolute slowest shipping ever. According to the tracking, it is taking 10 days for the defective Fitbit to get from the east coast to the west coast. Then it will take them another week to ship the replacement. What a joke! Why did I waste over $150 on a Fitbit just to not not even have it for weeks! I will also note that many of the features will only be available "in the coming months" and many of those features will require another $10/month for their premium service. Please spare yourself the aggravation and do not get this junk.

Hope they have resolved the battery life issues. Unfortunately, a buyer won't know for a few years. My Fitbit Charge 3 purchased 3 years ago this month used to need charging once every 7 to 10 days. Now it has to be charged every 2 days or so.

Failed to load across multiple days. Problem with the new firmware on a new device. Support from fitbit is useless. I'll be returning this for a refund.

My first Charge 5 died on me after 4 months. My Totaltech membership got me a swap out with a new Charge 5, but I'm concerned that this one will have issues as well. I guess time will tell...

Stopped working within 6 days of purchase. Returned to Fitbit and still waiting on replacement since 29 April 2022. Hopefully it comes next week.

These watches are terrible technology and the company does not have its customers in mind. Good luck if you buy it y'all. Smashing mine shortly.

It used to stay charged for 5 days before charging, now it will not stay charged more than 4 or 5 hours

Had for one week, fitbit did an update and screen went black and there was no fix for it. Either replace or upgrade, so I took it back.

It was everything I was looking for in a Fitbit watch.

It sucks. I have tried to deal with Fitbit to address my issues and their support staff is incompetent and impossible to deal with.

My husband bought me a Charge 5 for my birthday, and it's been wonderful, until my new Samsung Fold phone updated to OS13. There's a fatal flaw in programming and tech support has been poor and has yet to fix it. This affects all Samsung Flip/Fold phones. Check for a fix before buying as a Christmas gift if this applies to the recipient!

Will not stay connected to my iPhone for notifications, I had not problems with my Charge 2. Fitbit needs to update connectivity issues before I will give a good review.
