So far so good. It tracks the miles, without having my phone with me, since it has built in GPS. Not sure how accurate it is, but it allows me to compare it to previous days workouts.

Charge 5 - Decent Fitness Tracker

Good Fitness tracker. Good display. Nice tracking features. Unlike the Charge 3 and 4, the screen is easily viewed outside on a sunlit day. Loses a star due to shorter battery life than the charge 3 and Fitbit using a different new design charging cable.

This is great step counter but it’s my 4 Fitbit due to they only last just as long for the warranty to expire, I wish they were made of better quality.

The Charge 5 has great battery life, lasts 5-6 days on a charge. The strap is ultra light weight and comfortable. Only slight downside is how simplistic the tech is but if that’s what you’re looking for this is a gem!

Overall I am happy with the Fitbit Charge 5. It takes a lot longer to charge than the Fitbit I replaced. This seems odd to me as the other one I had is older. On the other hand, the Charge 5 can do more than my previous one. So, i guess there are trade offs. One this i hate about buying a new Fitbit is the silicone band. I just spend $100+ on the product, then I have to go and spend more to get a decent band. But this is not just an issue with the Charge 5, it is an issie with all Fitbits. Like i said, overall i am happy. Taking longer to charge and the silicone band make the product a 4 instead of a 5 for me.

Got Fitbits in order to monitor my wife’s atrial fibrillation. We also wanted Fitbits to track our pulse rate, daily step count and sleep patterns. We did need our daughter and grandchildren to help us set them up. We could have done it, but it would have taken much longer.

Better than our Apple Watch for tracking activity

My wife had an older FitBit but I got her an Apple Watch. She never liked the Apple as it was more difficult to track activities than the Fitbit. This new Fitbit has a great battery life so it can track her sleep since it doesn’t require charging daily. Great little device.

Pretty durable. Does scratch. I wish there were more band options. I reacted to the silicone and ended up purchasing a 3rd party band. I haven’t had any problems sense. It does what it is supposed to do. Battery lasts 5-7 days.

Does exactly as advertised! I am using it with an iPhone 13 Pro Max. I did not previously wear any other fitness tech, but I have enjoyed being able to track my sleep and steps throughout the day. The extended battery life compared to the Apple Watch I wore a long time ago is a huge plus!

a marked improvement/evolution from the charge 4 with better/brighter display + longer batter life in addition to some new features such as EDA scan for stress management/mindfulness. still fairly streamlined on the wrist though one might opt to switch out the band (which slips into itself) for a buckled one.

Good smartwatch for simple daily routines including heart rate monitoring and sleep tracking. Currently still on the free subscription trial period but looks like the value proposition will significantly decline after. Will see.

I had high hopes for this Fitbit. On paper, this appeared to be a smaller, less expensive Sense for those who do not need s full on smart watch. Well, issues started happening with my watch after the first day post-update. My watch would freeze, not respond, and kept timing out connecting to my Iphone 11 Pro via Bluetooth. Something my Versa 1 had no issues with. I was thinking of exchanging, but I have no confidence in this watch as of right now. Should clear up with future updates whatever happened with mine. Admittedly I returned this, bought a Versa 3, returned before opening, and I went all out with the Sense. The Sense is awesome. Highly recommend that one.

I love the Charge 5. I had been using the Charge 3 and my husband insisted I get a new Fitbit. It is much easier to read the clock and after I finally figured out how to adjust the viewing I am no longer wasting battery life. I am using the app to help me lose weight.
