My wife loves her fitbit. This is her second one, the first lasting for about five years. A lot has changed with the Charge 5, the greatest of which, for me, was the ease of setting this one up. The instructions were perfect and took just a few minutes and the setup was completely painless. The decrease in price was the second joy of this purchase.

I purchased this about a month ago. Just because it has a few more features than my Charge 4, it's called advance. My charge 4 was better, but the led screen could not see it anymore so i got the charge 5. There is no screen setting to where you can have the time and heart rate only, you have to have all settings on it. So when you turn your wrist to make it go on, your steps might show up, so now you have to tap it to your heart rate. I don't care about my steps, i care about heart rate. I don't like and will most likely never get another one. Plus what Fitbit gets for a sports band is total robbery

This is my first activity tracking device. There's a lot of uses in this little package for sure. The technology is amazing. I like the Premium offerings but if course, it comes with a steep monthly fee, though I do appreciate the trial. If the Premium is taken from the total use of the purpose of a fitness tracker, I'm thinking there will be other manufacturers that offer a useful device without a steep monthly fee. In consideration to the device itself, it's great for someone that wants to take the time to set, start, stop and read the results. I like bells and whistles no doubt, but this becomes a bit high maintenance. When calling Fitbit, it's not the best support.

The Fitbit Charge 5 is a nice size with lots of options. Although the charge 5 failed after 1 month of using the Fitbit. Poor support you have to jump through many steps and they don’t specify each step clearly.

Love my charge 5. Have had a charge 3 for quite a long time and loved that also, but time and use started to show on some pixels. The charge 5 is slimmer and has a few extra features. When the price was reduced from the original asking price, I knew it was time. Couldn’t be more pleased with my purchased.
