Lasted 14 months until the screen went black. The fitbit needed an update and after that would not sync. I did everything that was recommended in the fitbit forums. I reset many times from the charger button, I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I called and customer support could not help either. The screen just blew out I suppose. When I reset, the fitbit logo shows a second then goes black. Thats it. The lights on the bottow light up but the screen was just not responding. Fitbit gave me a 35% discount to buy a new fitbit since i was over warranty so i give them 2 stars for that. Something better than nothing...Something is wrong with this fitbit as i read many people had the same issue.. Synching was a problem too. It took too long most of the time.. I initially went to best buy to see if maybe they knew of a solution and they sent me to the cell phone workers to help...they of course couldnt help..didnt want to help..its always a hit or miss with the friendliness at the best buy phone employee area..there is always someone there with a bad attitude.

A huge uplift from Charge 4. Not only is the screen with colors (yay), but the watch is much more responsive. Really noticeable when acquiring GPS signal and such.

works great. Had some issues with loss of Bluetooth connections which require the unit to be reset

While I liked the style, features and comfort of this Fitbit Charge 5, I ended up returning it because it didn’t surpass the features of my Apple Watch. I was hoping it would add additional information along with my use of my Apple Watch but it fell short of my expectations. Sadly, I couldn’t justify the cost to keep it. For someone who does not have an Apple Watch, the Fitbit Charge 5 is an awesome device. I did like that the battery lasted a week vs just one day battery life with Apple Watch.

This would have been my 4th Fitbit Tracker; but, I found the screen difficult to read; but the real issue I had and caused me to return it was the snooze feature for the alarms and timers; when you hit snooze it continue to buzz for another 5 to 10 seonds; this was extremely annoying; it is probably just a software update; but since I found a lot others complaining about the same thing and nothing getting done, I returned it and went back to my Versa 2.

We had a Charge 3 for a few years; even after the screen failed, the data was still transmitting. We are hoping this one lasts longer than 13 months.

Great fitness watch,works great,just don't use highest settings of brightness otherwise battery will die after one year or so

Fairly durable. Multiple menus can be a challenge. Band wears out quickly.

Only worked for about 3 weeks. Because I wasn’t offered a warranty policy when I purchased it, Best Buy refused to do anything about its malfunction, so I contacted Fitbit directly. They tried troubleshooting the problem and eventually decided a replacement was best. Just got the replacement so hopefully it does better

Nice replacement for now outdated fitbit flex. Only thing missing is audio control support

This Fitbit has a good display size and the band is comfortable.

I like what the watch does but the band will wear out quickly, just like the band on my last one, a Fitbit 2. The small piece of rubber won’t last long being squeezed through the other half of the watch band. I like dealing with Best Buy, but hope I didn’t make a mistake on this model of Fitbit! Can’t really give a complete review as the watch technically isn’t even broken in. Only charged it once.

The original watch band is not very comfortable so I ordered different watch bands that are a much better fit.

great buy, my Fitbit charge 3 had died. Could not read the screen, it was so dim. This charge 5 has a larger display which makes it easier to read. Still learning all the controls.

I love the upgrade of the full color screen over my previous charge. It took a little bit to configure the screen the way I like it, but now I'm pretty happy with it.

Works as well as my previously owned one which died unexpectedly after one year. Lovely gold rose gold color which is unexpected. Linked immediately to my phone and account seamlessly.

Bought this as an upgrade to the Charge 3. There are many great upgrade on this device that make the upgrade worthwhile. It's compact and comfortable, but I did swap out the Rubber bands for a 3rd party cloth velcro band.

Very comfortable. I love the color display. Is easy to see in direct sunlight. Prompts you to move every hour. I just love all the features.

I already have a fitbit charge 4 and I bought this charge 5 for my wife and she is completely happy with it. she uses it every day for fitness.
