This tracker is amazing. It has a beautiful screen and it is very easy to une. The mileage is very accurate, and the fitbit app motivates you a lot to reach your goals. Battery life is amazing, even when I use the GPS to track my runs. The always on display drains battery a little bit more but it isn't significant.

Purchased this when my competing brand fitness watch company decided to discontinue support and deactivate their devices. It has been great! Keeps a good record of my sleep, heart rate, steps, and lots more! Extremely happy with this device.

I'm basing this review in comparison with my wonderful Charge 3 that has been retired after many years of great service. The new Charge 5 is sleeker looking and the display is much easier to read in the sun when I am running (I really only look at it when I am stopped at a cross-walk). Not a super big plus for me is the battery seems to prefer to be charged around 4 days. I have most everything set up to save the battery so I'm not certain why I don't seem to get what was listed as a feature of having something like 5 or 6 days. Again no issue for me. The new 5 does it's job and so that's really what counts. So 5 stars for all of the above items. Now why 4 stars for this review? No stair counter is big and I REALLY hate that the app constantly nags me about the GPS. I use Strava so I just don't need the Fitbit app to nag me about the GPS. I' not a fan of the band but even the after market stuff doesn't look all that great either. I also don't like that the display on the tracker changes away from the normal display when I start running. The two things I'm most interested in when I am running is my heart rate and how many steps are tracked. Simple stuff as I normally don't have a lot of time to scroll through endless screens to find out how many steps I've taken. Anyhow I am please with the Charge 5 and pretty much a Fitbit guy. Note: I do wear a regular analog watch normally so I don't wear the Fitbit on days when I'm not running. I would buy another Charge 5 if this one got lost.

This is the second of this generation of Fitbit that I've purchased. The last one lasted me barely over a year which is why I gave it four stars(Fitbits seem to be lasting shorter and shorter amounts of time nowadays). So far though I'm wondering if since Google took over Fitbit, that maybe this one is a better version than the last charge 5 I had because it seems to be running a little smoother, but honestly only time will tell as I've only been using this one for about a month now. The battery life is great, and it charges pretty fast. So far I don't have any complaints about this latest repurchase of the Fitbit charge 5.

I love this device the Fitbit charge is awesome it tracks my heart and warns me before I have an anxiety or panic attack reason why I got it. Plus I have sleep apnea or something close to it and it tracks my sleep telling me how many hours I actually slept for the price you can’t beat the quality and design. Just go buy it. It has a longer batter than an Apple Watch and does as much

This is my third Fitbit and by far the best. It’s only been 2 months but, so far it seems mor accurate with all the different functions. The display is magnificent. Easy to read in every light. The meter on the left part of the face ensures that you have made your exercise goals. All in all the best charge Fitbit ever. You will not be disappointed. The battery life has been outstanding.

It is a nice little tracker that you forget it is even on your wrist. I didn't want a big bulky smartwatch type. The display is clear and it paired easily with my phone and app. Battery life last a little over 6 days. To give an idea of battery time I usually charge it overnight on Sunday nights and do not have to charge in between. I didn't like the band but there are a ton to choose from on Amazon.

So far I like it. The battery lasts for 8 days, I can top off the charge while I take it off to shower, but if I wore it into the shower it's waterproof enough to take it. I wanted it mainly for sleep tracking and have seen reviews and tests that claim it's a very good performer for the money in that area. I've worn it for ten nights now and am starting to get a picture of how I sleep and what I can do to improve my sleep. It's also nice to be able to accurately see my heart rate at any time. Easy to wear, I hardly notice it's on. So far, a winner.

Ok, good value. However, I replaced a much more expensive model with this because of my budget. This rocked. Tracks sleep, steps, heart rate, even SP02. But it is just a little over a year old and it is messing up. It will show 95% charged when it is really 16% or less. It shuts down in the middle of a workout. It shuts down in the middle of the night and I lose sleep tracking! So frustrating and probably 18 months old? I use it. It has been bicycling in the rain and running in the night, I run it hard, but 18 months for lifespan is pretty disappointing. My last expensive one lasted 4 years, I lost it at the dog park. Keep Tracking!!!!!!

I am addicted to FitBits, otherwise I would not have bothered with my FOURTH purchase. They fail after a while and the company could care less. Like most technology there is a built-in obsolescence that makes you spend on average $150-$200 every two years just for a (smart) watch. There are features in this product that the Samsung and Apple watches don't have and vice versa. I always get the Charge models because the size is perfect, not too big but not too small to see the watch face. I am able to comfortably sleep with it on which is good for me because I like to see my sleep patterns. Supposedly it is waterproof but I was on the beach and I don't think it even got wet (maybe a drop when I put it back on?) and yet a little while later it went into spastic mode before it went back to normal later that night. Clock was off by 5 hours and it wasn't syncing. Hopefully this isn't foreshadowing and I will get 22 more months out of the thing( at least). On the plus side charging is fast and battery life is good. New watch face options are fun. Heart rate seems to be fairly accurate but steps and calorie counts can be way off.

Best reasonably priced activity tracker out there. Monitors heart rate, sleep, and O2 consistently. The GPS works well. The battery life is good, very good if you do not use GPS. I wish they had the battery life on the watch. You have to sync to see it. The app is simple and good, and I think the Premium is worth it. I have had several monitors and like this the best.

I recently made the switch to the Fitbit Charge 5 and have been quite happy with the experience. The sleek design and enhanced features offer a seamless way to track my daily fitness goals. However, one drawback was the incompatibility with my old Charge 4 bands, requiring me to buy new ones. This was a minor inconvenience but worth it for the upgraded technology. The new features like stress tracking and improved battery life make this device a valuable investment for anyone looking to take their fitness journey to the next level. Overall, despite the band compatibility issue, the Fitbit Charge 5 delivers on its promise to make tracking health metrics simple and efficient.

I really loved this Fitbit. The battery life was fantastic. The features it had were perfect for me. I really just wanted something to track my sleep and my workouts. Then suddenly, less than a year after I bought it, it stopped working. First, the screen went permanently black, but it would still connect to the app. Then it stopped connecting to the app as well, so it was essentially useless. I think I took pretty good care of it, so I'm not sure why this happened. I'm unsure if I should buy a new Fitbit or try something else.

Great Fitness tracker w/GPS feature. I haven't decided on subscribing to the service yet. As a standalone tracker with the Fitbit app on my Samsung phone, it makes a great tool for tracking my progress with useful health data, i.e., sleep, heart rate, exercise, mindfulness, yada, yada, yada... If you use it to track hiking, biking, hour long workouts, etc. you'll only get about 5 maybe 6 on the battery.

Second Fitbit for me. The 5 charges quickly, battery lasts for 2-4 days depending on activity level. Get notified for low battery and weekly stats. Like the accent silver around the face. It’s easy to read, and not bulky

Bought this for my fiance on Valentine's Day. He and I both love the design of this! It still has the Charge 3/4 feel but the colors make it more fun to interact with. The new functions are nice to have. Sometimes there is some lack with his Fitbit not wanting to sync up to his iPhone and we are not for sure if it's the app itself or if it's the phone/watch, but eventually it will sync up. Sometimes it doesn't want to record certain things but that's happened before with the Charge 3 and 4. Sometimes there is some "lag" in the notifications as far as the texts/FB messages, sometimes they don't come through at all. As I stated, it could be an issue with the app, the phone, or the connection. The layout is different and takes some time to get used to, and not having that side button to push takes some getting used to. For him, it's easier to charge as he only has the use of one arm. I like it so much that I've decided to get myself one, and I'm pretty happy with my Charge 4. I think I would get more benefit out of the 5. Great watch, I definitely recommend it. It does what it's supposed to and has some fun functionality to it.

The Fitbit Charge 5 peforms pretty much as promised and is very comfortable. I only remove it to charge it, which I do every 5 days when it's down to 25%. It monitors hear rate continuously, can detect afib, performs sleep monitoring, and it has built-in GPS. Compared to my Samsung Watch 5: the Watch 5 has a more accurate GPS, Watch 5 shows a slightly lower heart rate (more accurately), and the Watch 5 detects afib, whereas the Fitbit 5 does not. The phone app is good. Bottom line: the Fitbit 5 is acceptable for step counting and sleep monitoring, is comfortable, and lasts for days, but I don't trust its ability to detect afib.
