Really helps me be more intentional about my sleep pattern. Helps me stay active during my day by measuring my steps each day. Counts my extent of fat burn and cardio activities!! Time between charging is very good!! I am very pleased with my Charge 5!!

    A Very Nice Upgrade ...

This is a great upgrade from my battle scarred Charge 2. I like that it has its own GPS and can do a rudimentary ECG. The dial is easy to read, set up was a breeze. I thought the band, especially the buckle, was going to be funky and hard to use, but it really is quite secure. Battery life has been surprisingly good.

I bought this watch for my wife to track her fitness progress. I was surprised at how well it performed. She took the watch on vacation for a week and forgot the charger at home. While I admit she had to turn off a couple of the advanced features to get more battery life out of it, but it still lasted the entire week on a single charge. It does a fantastic job of tracking her heart rate and he sleep patterns. Overall I give it an 8.5 out of 10. Great watch for the price.

Nice bright color display, day or night. Seems faster too. I'm a heavy guy with large wrists and the band fits comfortably and fastens with no metal parts. Battery lasts several days on a charge with a magnetic charger- no need to remove the band. The case is also thinner with a lower, more modern profile that does not stick out like my old Charge 4. There's also a new ECG feature and the usual step, sleep, heart, etc. tracking and analysis. Overall, it's a nice upgrade when compared to my Charge 4 and I am happy with it.

Better health tracker than Apple Watch

I bought this as a replacement for my Apple Watch series 6. The battery life is insane as I am getting days of use in between charges vs just hours for the Apple Watch. All of the health functionality is better than the Apple Watch. The fitbit app and companion site is also very helpful and full of information. The display is great but the interface is not as intuitive as it should be. The touchscreen can be slow at time to respond. GPS is not as good as it is on the Charge 4 and can be improved. Overall for the price…it is a great health tracker.

Keeps a great charge. I probably charge it once a week. Keeps my steps, keeps my heart rate, tracks my sleep pretty well, and doesn’t bother my wrist too much. Quality and probably the better of the Fitness watches I’ve had.

This thing is awesome! Gives accurate readings throughout the day. Its sleek and goes with everything. Battery lasts a very long time. No complaints so far! Sometimes you have to turn your wrist twice to see the screen, but its not that big of a deal.

I bought 2 of charge 5 for me and my girlfriend. Mine is working fine, hers not. My does pretty same Good job as charge 2 that i used to wear for couple of years. My charge 5 is used for 8 full days and battery is still 18%, hers was charged 2 times through 8 days time frame already. I use it heavy, I wear it all the time, results didn’t change since charge 2 so I believe those are accurate. I will keep mine but will replace hers for another one. I haven’t experienced any of the issues people describing like losing GPS or not working during the night. I even did test with Spo2 measurements and those are very accurate (comparing to spo2 device bought in Walgreens). My girlfriend’s device however is bad when it comes to battery. I assume it’s some of them are broken and some not. Software update took 6 minutes in total. No problems with syncing so far.

Lost a star because SpO2 reading is not available live or on-demand. It is read only during sleep as part of creating the sleep score. Otherwise, very pleased with item. Battery life is very good. Easily a full week between charges. The Android app is good. It uses built-in GPS to create a map that displays my track when bike riding. Currently using free six months Premium subscription. Not worth almost $10/month to me, although paid annually the fee is considerably less.

Long time Fitbit user. Upgraded from Ch 2 to Ch 5. Mainly track sleep, hear rate and steps. Typically turn bedroom light off at midnight. Ch 2 tracked no problem. Ch 5 half of time starts tracking around 2:30 am. Seems to be a known problem- forum had no solution Unhappy! Battery life is around 8 days - very good

I've used Fitbit products since they were 1st developed. This one is the most accurate, with settings that allow individualizing it to your preferences. It allows me to dim at night, my step count is more accurate as is my sleep when I check wake times. I did switch out the band to one with perforations and find it more comfortable, but other than that, very pleased with this version. The battery lasts longer before recharging is required- 4 to 5 days. It was almost fully charged at purchase, but I fully charged it before syncing to my account which was quick and easy, as was the set up.

Love this fitness / health tracker. It's the right combination of features, ease of use and battery life. I gave it 4 stars for two reasons. First, the app is a little complicated - you have to go down many levels sometimes to find the info you need. Second, I don't like the fact that I cannot turn off Fitbit notifications (like when I am exercising and my heart rate is in "Fat Burn" zone or I've reached my step goals for the day). But other than that, great fitness tracker.

I had my Charge 5 for over a year before it died. I wore it in the shower once without thinking. After that it would die within minutes of taking it off the charger. The heart rate and sleep tracking were pretty accurate and would be the top features for me. I found its GPS accuracy to be lacking. It would say I was running about 10% faster than I actually was because it didn't seem to get the distance right. I really dislike the 'premium' option on the Fitbit. They give you a free subscription when you buy it. You get a few extra charts with premium but nothing very interesting or insightful. Then when your premium expires the app is full of 'this is a premium feature' parts. Its my own data and it costs them nothing to show me canned plots. Its bogus to try and charge a subscription fee for that.

For $100 on Prime Day, this is an incredible deal. Pro's: 1). A week of battery life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2). A bunch of sensors including GPS. Con's: 1) Google owns, so privacy is a BIG concern. 2) Not completely Fitbits fault, but data does not share with Apple Health and Apple Health does not share with Fitbit.

This handles the basics quite well. It can monitor heart rate, steps, sleep, ekg, night o2. It can also track different types of workouts. You will also be able to use it with apps like Virgin Pulse. The original band gave me a really bad rash, but I found easy replacements on Amazon to overcome that issue,

My husband and I both got the Charge 5 Fitbits. The screen is easy to see but it took some getting used to the swipe up or across to go to a different page. I seem to be getting less steps and milage even though we walk the same path together every day. I wonder if it is because I wear mine on my dominant arm. Also, my battery was not lasting the first few days we had it but then it started working properly per charge.
