    I bought my wife a new Fitbit because her old charge 4 that fell apart. It wasn't very old either. Fitbit used to be pretty great, however they're newer products require additional membership for features that used to come standard with the device. Features that previously were included with the price of the device now cost money every month! I've been a fan of Fitbit since I had my charge 3, currently I'm wearing a charge 4. Honestly though I won't buy a charge 5 for myself, especially if I have to an additional monthly fee to get what we're once standard features.

    My Charge 5 worked well for three months, then it would no longer sync to my phone. I tried EVERY option suggested by Fitbit and online boards (trying to pair with another device, uninstalling and re-installing the app, restoring factory settings, etc.) and none worked. Other buyers on the Charge 5 community board report the same issue, with no success in resolving it with Fitbit customer service. I'll be replacing it with a Garmin.
