purchased this Charge 5 to replace my older Charge 2 fit bit. I am really happy with all the things this one can do compared to my old one.

Battery life was great before the Charge 6 came out, then Fitbit put out a firmware update. My battery life went down from 100% to under 10% in less than 6 hours for two days, then it would not charge at all. I searched for ‘Charge 5 battery draining quickly after update’, and found this to be a common complaint. I did every troubleshooting recommendation from FitBit ‘support’, and when I told them nothing worked, their response was to go buy a new FitBit. I will never again buy a FitBit nor would I ever recommend one to anybody.

I like my new Charge 5 better than the Charge 4. It looks sleeker and I like the color of the band. I also like the new way to adjust the band.

I have been a reasonably happy customer of a charge 3 for last 2 years and looked forward to additional functionality of charge 5. However I am very disappointed with two issues with the charge 5. The first, it does not have an altimeter to measure floors, a function the charge 3 had and I used frequently. I assumed a later model would have the functionality of current model plus… my mistake for not looking closer, so buyer beware. Second, the only way I can get this watch to sync with my iPhone is to drop it from blue tooth and then add it back everytime. Turning phone off and turning watch off doesn’t fix it and no help from Fitbit. Will likely pitch this and the premium service and spend the money for an Apple Watch.

Can see the face of the Fitbit Charge 5 without going into a closest. So much better then my previous model the Charge 3. Much improved.

Exceeded expectations. Was not a fan of the look and layout of this at first, but found it to be very easy to setup and use moving forward.

I had my reservations at first. But it turned out to be pretty good. It has a longer battery life over the previous version, which is nice.

Motivation is a key component of this product. Awareness of the amount of steps and number of hours of sleep is important information that is motivating. Easy to operate and read.

Bought this less than a year ago. It stopped working after three months. The used DHL to Philippines to replace it for me. That was great, but now 4 months later the battery life is less than two hours, so useless. I'll ask for a replacement, but will not use or depend on it again.

I wear everywhere it's pretty accurate on counting steps I use it for my sleep cycle and for my calories burned for the day wouldn't leave home without it

Not holding charge, also has gone black and had to factory reboot Thanks to YouTube Wife has no problems with hers

LOve my Fitbit, also upon request had help from a tech person to set it up. It was relatively easy, could have done myself but appreciated the help.

I can't figure out how to reboot / restart the watch ⌚ if needed. I went to Google & it says there's a button on the flat side of the watch when you connect the charger. I guess they forgot to put that button on mine. It's also not as user friendly as the Charge 3 & 4. Other than that I haven't had any "real problems out of it

It works really well. The tracker is pretty small and streamlined which I like because there is less chances of it getting damaged.

It is a nice band but too expensive for what it is. If you have an iPhone just spend a bit more a get an Apple Watch SE, you get much better experience. I thought since Charge is smaller it is going to be more comfortable, especially at night. But it still feels like a watch on your wrist, so might as well just get a watch with more functionality and better accuracy, and better integration with a phone

Great device. Easy to use and to wear. Take it with me everywhere (almost)

The last fitbit I had before this one was the Charge 2, and I loved that one very much. This model is super disappointing- there aren't many watch faces to choose from, and none of them show all the relevant information I'd watch to see right on the face. Not to mention all of the available are unsightly. This feels like a huge step backwards.

I have owned every single Charge Fitbit model prior to the 5. I got it because at the time it received really great reviews. I can honestly say that this specific model has given me nothing but trouble. From a variety of display issues, to not having sleep data taken for days on and off no matter how many times I reset it, to not having my heart rate data in real time, this model is the worst I've ever had. None of the other charges had these issues. The real kicker was when just after a year of having the Charge 5 the display suddenly started fading out to just a green solid display then completely blank. Now the display will not work at all. So this Charge has become useless after just a year. This speaks to the quality of this product (or lack thereof). Please save your money and lots of frustration and go back to any of the previous models or just don't do it.

Battery life was great when new, Started to lose 75 % every day. Now has to be charged every day.

good basic fitness tracker color display seems to work well not as many clock faces as the other models but youll find one that works for you, seems a little buggy but i think thats a fitbit problem some of the features they advertised weren't up and running at the launch date of the tracker hopefully theyll be up soon
