Doesn't have someof the features of other fitbits but it holds a charge. Thats been my problem with the other new ones. They only hold a charge ~ 24 hours or less, no matter what the say! Like the sleek styling.

This product and company sucks. Initial item had to be replaced within six months, afree common water exposure.. And the replacement items screen failed a little longer than 6 months later. 2 failed products on the span of 13/15 months. Customer service refuses to replace the second. Don’t not buy.

Nice upgrade over Fitbit Charge 3

Better options the my Fibit Charge 3. The GPS tracking system is far better and much more accurate. The tracker itself is good, but the company Fitbit is refusing to address the lack of video casting of their videos for Android users under their paid Premium service. Overall, very pleased with my new Charge 5.

Charge 5 has a battery drainage issue.

After roughly five months of usage, I started facing the battery drainage issue. It doesn't even last 2 hrs. I have tried everything like turning off the GPS, all-day sync, decreasing brightness to dim, and manual awake. When I looked online, I could find many users having the same issue with the battery. Hence, if you are planning to purchase charge 5, please do some research and check what Fitbit has to say about their ongoing battery issue.

Was a Christmas present. It was a huge hit! Exactly what was wanted! Recipient can’t stop talking about it and is very appreciative. App was easy to install. We did have a tiny problem with it going to sleep and then getting it turned back on before fully setting it up. If that happens just plug the charger back in and it will be responsive again.

I am very pleased with the Charge 5. I upgraded from Charge 3 and enrolled in the Premium option for the free period. I do like the premium option. I do find the premium meditation helpful. The digital display on the Charge 5 is much better for me. The band is easier to manage and the charger 5 digital display design is a huge plus for me.

Works great so far. A nice upgrade from the Charge 3. It has a color screen and all that I would want from a fitness tracker. Specifically chose this model because I wanted minimal interaction with my phone and just wanted a watch/fitness tracker The band is a bit thick but I swapped it out easily with a 3rd party version.

This fitbit does not track my heart rate more than half the time, so it does not enable me to see how long I'm in the zones. Speaking of zones, the APP allows you to customize the HR zones but it will only show you when you are in their preset zones... so what good is setting customized HR zones. Very poor performing device.

Purchased this Jul 2023, its now Feb 2024 and it stopped charging. This is a known issue and on the fitbit forums its pretty common. Contacted Fitbit and they are sending me a new one but I'm expecting 7 months from now the replacement will also die. Very disappointed not worth buying, go with an apple watch instead.

We really liked our Fitbits, but sadly they don’t last very long before dying. Each new generation (we’ve had the Charge 3, 4 & 5 now) seems to have shorter lifespans than the previous ones. On top of that, we were also having to reboot them on a regular basis. AND the watch band would frequently disconnect from device & fall off. So BYE BYE Fitbit…

Great style and a lot of cool things tracked with this model. It just doesn’t always work. Stops tracking HR randomly and has to be restarted. Super frustrating. Seems like software has bugs.

Fitbit Charge 5 died after three months. I bought the 5 after having a great experience with bam older version. When this charge 5 screen died the Best Buy employee asked if I was a “regular customer”. I’m. Not sure what that meant but o have bought many computers, cameras, home security items etc from Best Buy. I was told they could not help me because I bought the fitbit three months ago and to contact Fitbit. Fitbit has not offered an assistance. I will not buy another Fitbit and will stop shopping Best Buy.
