it does not count stairs or buzz me for incoming calls. im not sure if that is because i refuse to pay for their upgraded membership. But it still counts steps and i like the new band.

Sometime on my bike ride, the Fitbit doesn't wake to log the GPS path of my ride. The EDA Scan does not work. The alarm has failed to go off a couple of times. I would not rely of the alarm.

I purchased this as an anniversary present for my wife. Unfortunately, she broke her left wrist the day of our anniversary and hasn't been able to wear it yet. She keeps it handy and is very pleased with it, to the limited extent that she is able to use it. So far, no regrets and if momma is happy, everyone is happy.

There are 3 problems with the fitbit: the 1 requires a special software package to sync which does not integrate with apple health 2 does not sync at all sometimes and when it discharges it loses the correct time -- never got that straight because of 3 3 band pops off easily causing loss of the fitbit

I've had my Fitbit Charge 5 for about a year now(out of warranty). The sleep tracking is inconsistent. I've only gotten sweat on it, and cleaned it with water. It doesnt turn on or charge at all now. Even when I've taken the necessary reset steps. I'm definitely going with a Samsung for my next purchase.

I'm a former Fitbit Charge 3 owner. This Charge 5 is truly an improvement from the software interface and I seem to believe it actually captures my heartbeat rate more accurately. I love how it sends me reminders to keep moving. I did wait for the Black Friday deals to save bucks, so I think it was worth it.

On the second replacement Fitbit within a year, and this one also is having issues. Randomly, the screen will blank out, or flash a white line. Sometimes it doesn't respond at all. First Fitbit fresh out of the box failed completely within a short period of time. The included arm bands caused a nasty rash/burns on my skin. I had to buy aftermarket bands to even wear this. Choose a different product.

I've had various Fitbits - Charge 3 was the last one so I decided it was time for an upgrade and so HAPPY I did. This is great - took me sometime to figure out the various ways to get to the screens but now I never take it off (except to shower)! Love it.

So far it's been very helpful in my weight loss effort. Not fond of the band though. Wrist actually stinky after wearing. I wear on left arm to bed to give my wrist a break. Also would like to turn off the payment option on my watch, not going to use that feature. All and all does a great job for me.

So far I am enjoying my new fitbit, and the additional feature of the EDA scan, which my Charge 2 did not have. It allows me to assess my stress level.

This died after 3 months. I got a replacement, which also died after like 3 months. I got a third through warranty, which died after six months. Warranty expired, so no replacement. I will not buy this again.

The new features in the Charge 5, the ecg tracing, works pretty well. However, some of the features I most value, the sleep stage breakdown doesn't seem to work as well. I get a lot of "simplified" sleep reports even when my sleep has not been interrupted by waking up. The respiratory rate seems to miss almost half the days for some mysterious reason. The battery only lasts 2-3 days. I do use all the features.

Upgrading from Charge 4..Huge advantages already seen. The similar features to the sense but a 1/3 of the price. Love the color screen. Love new band style. I didn't need the ability to answer a phone or text with look of smart watch. I am usually training not lolly gagging. So great job Fitbit.

I miss the features from my Charge 2. This newer model technically has more features but they are cumbersome to use. I can't just rotate my wrist to see the time and steps. I need to tap the face a few times. I can't seem to get it to give me call and text alerts, as I used to get with my Charge 2. It will technically give me the texts ... just a day later. Not helpful. Fitbit needs to work on this.
