The Charge 5 is a great device to track health and fitness. The colored graphs make it easy to see at a glance what level of fitness you are in. The band is comfortable even when worn for a long period of time. Being on sale made this purchase a win-win for my health and my pocketbook.

    Brand New Junk

The Fitbit Charge 5 was charged overnight for at least 12 hours but it completely died on me by 4:30pm. I charged it once again for 8-10 hours. I died by 6pm. I’m a repeat customer and have had 6 Fitbit devices graduating from the Fitbit One and have never had this issue before. I feel like ever since Google bought Fitbit, the product has declined tremendously! Not a Best Buy issue at all.

Died after 4 months. Time to stop buying this brand for me personally, this is the 4th fitbit I’ve purchased that’s failed to make it 1 year.

    New Fitbit 5

I am consistently using the new Fitbit 5 which replaced my Fitbit 4. Not sure the Premium is helpful for me personally as I am a "basic" user type. It helps keep me on track with my necessary 'cardio' output which is beneficial for me.

    Wary of bluetooth problems

This is my second try. The first charge 5 was not able to maintain a bluetooth connection long enough to connect with the app. The screen would appear after 40-50 taps, sometimes, and finally it just rest itself every 2-3 minutes, making it unusable. I never actually got to use it. I decided to give the charge 5 a second chance, and so far, it is working well. I can’t say I fully trust it yet, but when it works, it is great.. the band is really very comfortable.

Bought new for wife in April as a birthday gift. Stopped working in September. Contacted Fit and they replaced (with refurbished item). Replacement just stopped working this July. 1st response after contacting Fit was an email that just said sorry out of warranty.

Owned this product since the day it released. Sep 21' At the start I thought it was good but I hardly ever use the ECG function and most of the good sleep health bits are locked behind a premium sub. On top of that watch can't hold >6hours of charge now (~9 months of ownership). I've reached out and support says there is a firmware fix coming...meh

Replaced my wife's older Fitbit. Working great for her needs. She appreciates the more advanced sensors compared to her older unit.

This is a nice basic smartwatch/great fitness tracker. If your looking for basic smartwatch functionality then this is a great product. Also nice to have something that's not as bulky as a galaxy watch or an apple watch.

Perfect for my needs. If I had one complaint it's that the display for battery usage percentage icon is miniscule, virtually impossible to see. Essentially all I see is green, yellow or red. I have to go the app to see the actual percentage.

I made a mistake and destroyed the box or it would come back. Will not hold a charge and could never get it linked with my phone. Came back and bought a Versa, and it is working fine, no trouble putting on my account. STUCK with useless Charge 5

the good first: nice color, nice shape and strap, relatively easy to read, holds charge well so far the bad: does not track sleep at all well (3 or 4 hours only when I do 6 or 7+) swim laps not all counted, apparently it cannot measure back stroke only free style laps..thus short changing me my real 1000 yards

The first one kept crashing during its update out of the box and black screened. I returned it for another thinking “I got a bad one”. My replacement also will not power up. I plug it in and nothing. I pressed the button 3 times and… a quick flash of the logo then… nothing. Now I’m thinking “how’d I get 2 bad trackers?!”… sigh… oh well. This one’s showing back too. To those who read this, thank you for your time. Don’t have a good day… Have a GREAT day.

Bought this but decided to return it and get the galaxy watch 4 ,for more smart functionality. The fit bit was really good just not for me. Needed something with more smart functions not just fitness tracking

I wasn't sure if I'd like being "tracked" but it's kind of fun and interesting to see how active (or inactive) I am every day. The wristband and back of the unit need frequent cleaning if you wear it all the time and are prone to sweating and doing dirty/yard work.

The Charge 5 has a lot of nice upgrades from my prior Charge device. However, one critical problem is that the device has problems syncing with my iphone that requires restarting the fitbit nearly every day. So that does make it less convenient to use. I probably wouldn't have bought the Charge 5 had I known it would be this buggy.
