Features like stopwatch and timer can be used right from the display - on old one it was through the app. The vibrate alarm doesn't seem quite as strong but I'm using a different style of band and somethimes the looseness of the band seems to affect how I feel the vibrations. Lots of very inexpensive band options available online- don't need to spend the extra for fitbit branded ones.

Fitbit for Seniors

It has a larger screen and larger print for the most part. It is difficult to determine the battery life but the email will notify when it s time to recharge. I enjoy having the additional health metrics available, especially the sleep monitoring. It does not have all the bells and whistles of other watches, but definitely good information for the senior population. A smart phone is needed to access all the tracking information.
