This was a gift for my mother in her late sixties. She absolutely fell in love with it! It gets her moving, alerts her with messages, tracks her sleep, monitors heart rate, etc. I also love that it was quite easy for her to figure out.

I've personally over a number of Fitbit trackers, and they've all been replaced under warranty at least once, and then promptly failed shortly after warranty ended (charge, charge2, charge3). Which is why I finally gave up on fitbit products myself, even though their products contributed significantly to reaching my fitness goals. I bought this for my wife, and she's been using it for 6 months so far without issue. This is her second Fitbit, she's had more luck with them than I have (fitbit charge lasted 3 years, before it stopped charging). My wife refused to look at anything else, because the Fitbit app really is just so much more user friendly than any of it's competitors.

“Look! I walked 6,000 steps today!” Yes, yes…gotcha moving. A stylish introduction into fitness—not as pricey while covering basic features. Basic features such as exercise options and step counting plus a simple, clear display to read stats and the time. This is intended as a gift so I can’t accurately gauge the battery life. Based off other Fitbit lines usages, I expect a few days worth of charge and a short recharging period, like 45 minutes for a depleted battery. Giving 4 stars since I have not worn it myself to measure battery life and band durability, but the features are promising, the design is pleasant, and in my experience the brand has more pros than cons.

Very compact, basic features, no problems with functionality after a year, great price.

Just don’t like it as well as my Alta. Band difficult to put on. It’s uncomfortable and band is difficult to open and close. Doesn’t sync properly. (Probably something I need to “fix”.) I just don’t like it.

I brought this for my Mom. My mom wanted something to keep track of her steps and heart rates. So far, its doing its job. If you buy one just google how to set up a fitbit, the first video you see is the one that I used to set it up.
